Small Things

Posted on Updated on

We’re always looking for the big hit. The thing that happens that changes the lives of large numbers of people positively. A heroic happening, an event that opens folks eyes and possibly brings them together.

Those are few and far between but every now and then we can smile at the small things. Much of this is going to happen at the local level.

A couple of local stories fit in that category. One is that another middle Tennessee city, Columbia, has decided to remove fluoride from their water supply. That makes four. It must be some kind of movement and it doesn’t take a great number of activists to influence outcomes. The TV reports have emphasized the cost cutting measures and somewhat downplayed the health issues and history of fluoride but I saw one that did mention brain damage which is a distinct possibility, especially in kids.

It’s a small thing but perhaps we can chalk this one up as a win.

The other one is  a followup from a story early last year when local county deputies shot a young man in the back of the head, killing him, as he drove around in circles on his own property. As usual in these kinds of police shootings the deputies were absolved of any criminal wrongdoing in an ‘investigation’ The family filed a civil suit which took place in Nashville in front of a jury.

Two Cannon County sheriff’s deputies were found guilty in U.S. District Court in Nashville on Friday of using excessive deadly force and are liable for $2.25 million in damages to the victim’s family.

Deputies Reed Bryson and Jordan McGee were found to have violated the Fourth Amendment rights of Richard Butcher, 28, whom they shot and killed as he was driving in circles in the front yard of his Woodbury home in February 2012.

The county says they are going to appeal  and who knows if anyone is going to actually see any money but you have to think that this may just plant the seeds of doubt in all the sheriff’s department employees that these wild west shootings can have repercussions. The jury, a small group of  people spoke and said this wasn’t right and charged a monetary value for an unnecessary killing. It doesn’t bring the boy back but the message is a form of vindication and it may have worth.

A small but an important thing that just might help prevent the same sort of thing from happening again? Time will tell if this is a win.

I would bet that most everyone reading here has a few local ‘small thing’ tales. They add up. It’s slow motion but at least we’re not always standing still. Get a win or two under our belts and it builds confidence. Hey…now what else can we do?

Removing the fluoride in our public water supplies is doable. One water district at a time. I’m in. It may not be stopping the wars but it’s something. What’s the old saying…first they ridicule you, then they attack you…then you win…or something like that.

Rouhani’s no Ahmadinejad but he gets his message across

Posted on

I started listening to Barry’s speech at the UN but as soon as I heard him interject the official myths of 9/11 and the ‘gassings’ of the Holocaust, my mind started blanking him out. Here’s the transcript and video if you have masochistic tendencies.

It is with a sick and sad feeling that we have to acknowledge that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s words  resonate with the vast majority of mankind much more so than those of our president.

TranscriptPDF

This gets ridiculous but actually Israel admitted that they fear the light of truth, in standard vampire tradition, by boycotting Rouhani’s speech.

Netanyahu gets downright silly and if he wasn’t so dangerous we would just laugh in his face like he does ours. Hey…we’ll laugh at him anyway.

In a statement, Netanyahu said that despite a new Iranian “smile offensive,” the policies of the Islamic republic remain the same. He accused Rohani of refusing to recognize the Holocaust.

“When Iran’s leaders cease to deny the Jewish people’s Holocaust and call for the destruction of the Jewish state, the Israeli delegation will listen to its speeches. Despite Iran’s new president’s ‘smile offensive’, their policy remains unchanged – just last week Rohani… refused to recognize the Holocaust as a historical fact.”

Netanyahu said the world “should not be fooled” by signs of moderation from Tehran…..

When an excuse is that world peace is dependent upon all players acknowledging hoaxes, lies and deceptions, well…more wars, more false flags, more staged events, more theft and many more deceptions are on the way. Unless…unless… we find some way to stop it. How do we do this?

The strategy of tension keeps moving around so no predictable pattern can be established.

Earlier this last week it was the DC Navy Yard and this time it’s Kenya and the attack is in an upscale Israeli owned mall. The dead include Africans, Europeans, Asians and North Americans. So far no reports of any Israelis killed even though there’s a Dead Sea mud kiosk there which you might think would be a top priority for any self respecting ‘terrorist.’ Israeli advisers are johnny-on-the-spot to help formulate a strategy though.

Ilana Stein, a spokeswoman for Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the attack took place near the ArtCaffe, an Israeli-owned coffee shop and bakery popular with foreigners that is one of 80 businesses in the mall. Ms. Stein said that one Israeli had been lightly injured, that three others had escaped unharmed and that Israelis had not been specifically targeted. “This time, the story is not about Israel,” Ms. Stein said.

Not about Israel eh? The mall is well insured I’m sure so little long term economic damage there.

The recent discovery of oil deposits in Kenya’s Turkana County could increase insecurity in the region. No kidding?

Not getting quite the publicity is the bombing of a Christian church in Peshawar Pakistan where according to reports the death toll is even higher than in Nairobi.

It’s the same shadows at play in both of these attacks with elements of the CIA, NATO, Israel and Pakistan intelligence involved. Directly or indirectly, it’s our money, plus interest to the bankers, paying for the killing.

The Operation Gladio tactics tend to work. Why mess with success? More to come but don’t look for the MSM to ever make the connection.between Gladio’s past and their present incarnations.

You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force … the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security.”

The Times We Live In

Posted on Updated on

One curse of our time is that an event such as the Washington Naval Yard shooting has to be immediately looked at as a false flag, a staged event and it is the up to the powers that be and their media to prove it’s not. They’re trying to do just that.

It’s been common that first reports of scenes like these are of multiple shooters but later on reduced to the lone gunman. Yep, it’s happened again.

Who was running security at the Naval Yard anyway? I haven’t found that out yet.

Will we see any security footage of him getting into the facility with ‘the gun.’

When the FBI takes over as lead of the investigation, is there any doubt that there may be a cover-up in place?

Wasn’t Obama pushing more gun control measures just yesterday? Just a coincidence…as always.

Outsiders

Posted on Updated on

art by Gabriel Shaffer

It looks like the big war has been put on hold but the misnamed ‘civil war’ in Syria continues. Without the recruitment of outsiders the so called rebels in Syria would be nothing. There would be no fighting. So who is going to pull the plug? For all the talk of chemical weapons, the US main stream media generally refuses to discuss where these outsiders are coming from and who is behind them. Yes, it’s the usual suspects, including Saudi Arabia and Turkey, doing the recruitment, playing to the lowest common denominator and getting brainwashed ‘Jihadists’ to do the dirty work. It’s much how the US military works here.

Recruited by Al-Qaeda: Foreign fighters in a Damascus jail tell their stories

Our intervention in Iraq continues to pay dividends, mainly to keep that country weak and stirred up, mostly for the continued benefit of Israel.  More than 4,000 people have been killed in attacks since the start of April, including 804 just in August with another reported 53 dead in bombings today. As with the plan for Syria, Iraq is splintered. One has to wonder if it is still paid outsiders who are perpetuating the violence.

Money greases the skids and no small amount is funneled out of Afghanistan by the CIA through their banker accomplices from the ongoing opium production. Marijuana plays an important part these days too.

It is now an open secret, and everyone knows it, as to who runs the largest global business of narcotics smuggling and weapons trade. Dig down just a little of these areas and you’ll find the American CIA sitting behind the scenes, smiling broadly and exposing widely its ugly teeth. There are certain local aides in various countries, which also play as the front men. We all know as to who urged and supported the Afghans to restart growing poppy after the fall of Taliban regime.

Besides padding the pockets of more than a few criminals inside and outside of the US, no doubt the drug money is being used to buy killers for destabilization of much of the Middle East and Northern Africa. Without this blood money, well, there would be less blood flowing.

All that being said, without the outside influence on the US of Israel and their lackeys, things would be moving at a much slower pace. Apologists will say AIPAC’s setback to get an attack on Syria shows that their power is waning. Let’s not get too carried away with that line of thought. Money and blackmail still are in play and will be until ‘the lobby’ is totally dismantled.

What is most unusual is that the outsiders who appear to be doing the most for the average American who does not want World War III is Putin and Russia. My how the worm turns.

No time to celebrate yet. We are still far from safe. As long as central bankers control the money, war merchants need to move their wares and politician’s loyalty is not to the people of their country…..we still have much work to do.

A 9/11 Thank You

Posted on Updated on

The 12th anniversary of the game changing event of 9/11 provides an opportunity for me to say Thanks to all of those who have kept the faith and who haven’t wavered in the face of the enormous pressure to conform to the big lies.

Some of you have been at it since day one. You have looked at evidence, at facts, at disinformation and using discernment and common sense came to some conclusions while still open to the many questions that have and still will arise.

Beyond that, you have spoken out. In writings that have spread around the world, in person with friends and family and sometimes with strangers.

You have been ridiculed, mocked and laughed at. Sometimes attacked. Sure, it may have stung but never enough to quit. The importance of speaking truth to power overrides the naysayers.

By addressing the 9/11 issue head on you have opened up other avenues that lead out of the darkness into light. A myriad of other issues that once were delegated to the nether-lands of taboos have crept into the consciousness of many who once were afraid but now have the courage of conviction.

Very importantly, you have given us some semblance of solidarity, the feeling that we are not alone, the realization that we have allies where disagreements are minor compared to our similarities.

So THANK YOU! Humanity will thank you one day. It’s coming.

The U.S and Israel: It’s a Gas Gas Gas

Posted on Updated on

The deceptive, duplicitous, sanctimonious stance of the U.S. on chemical weapons is maddening.  There are any number of countries who have them but the hypocrisy of the U.S. and Israel stands out. So we’ll focus a little on them.

Israel…

from Israel’s Chemical Weapons by James Brooks 2004

For years, rumors persisted that Israel was using or testing unknown chemical agents on Palestinian civilians. The rumors began to reveal their substance February 12, 2001, when Israel began a six-week campaign of “novel gas” attacks in the Gaza Strip and West Bank. By chance, American filmmaker James Longley arrived in Khan Younis, Gaza in the middle of the first attack. That afternoon he began filming the victims. His award-winning film, Gaza Strip, documents the naked reality of Israel’s chemical weaponry – the canisters, the doctors, the eyewitnesses, and the hideous suffering of the victims, many of whom remained hospitalized for days or weeks.

The February 12 gassing of neighborhoods in Khan Younis presaged the attacks that followed. When the gas canisters landed, they began to billow clouds of either white or black, sooty smoke. The gas was non-irritating and initially odorless, changing to a sweet, minty fragrance after a few minutes. One victim recalled, “the smell was good. You want to breathe more. You feel good when you inhale it.” The smoke often shifted to a “rainbow” of changing colors.

From five to thirty minutes after breathing the gas, victims began to feel sick and have difficulty breathing. A searing pain began to wrench their gut, followed by vomiting, sometimes of blood, then complete hysteria and extremely violent convulsions. Many victims suffered a relentless syndrome for days or weeks afterward, alternating between convulsions and periods of conscious, twitching, vomiting agony. Palestinians agreed: “This is like nothing we’ve ever seen before.”

Forty people were admitted to Al-Nasser Hospital “in an odd state of hysteria and nervous breakdown,” suffering from “fainting and spasms.” Sixteen gas patients had to be transferred to the intensive care unit. Doctors “reported the Israeli use of gas that appeared to cause convulsions.”

From Steve Lendman 2012

In 1993, the US Congress Office of Technology Assessment WMD proliferation assessment included Israel as a nation having undeclared offensive chemical warfare capabilities. In 1998, former Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary Bill Richardson said:

“I have no doubt that Israel has worked on both chemical and biological offensive things for a long time. There’s no doubt they’ve had stuff for years.”

Israel tests new weapons in combat. Against Lebanon in 2006 and Gaza during Cast Lead, it used direct energy weapons, chemical and/or biological agents, and others producing injuries and symptoms medical professionals never previously saw.

For example, bodies with dead tissue had no apparent wounds. Corpses were found shrunken. Civilians had heavy lower limb damage requiring amputations. Nonetheless, unstoppable necrosis followed (death of cells and living tissue) followed by death.

Internal wounds had no trace of shrapnel. Corpses were blackened but not burned. Some badly wounded victims didn’t bleed. The Palestinian health ministry said Israel used a new type explosive in Gaza. It contained toxins and radioactive materials. They burned and tore victims’ bodies from the inside. They also left long term deformations.

A Palestinian doctor accused Israel of using chemical ammunition that burns and injures soft tissue, but can’t be traced by X-rays. Severe internal wounds were reported. Unknown gases believed to be nerve agents were used. Those affected lost consciousness for about 24 hours. They experienced high fevers and muscle rigidity. Some needed urgent blood transfusions.

Israel – biological warfare

The U.S., Britain and Israel have Used Chemical Weapons within the Last 10 Years

Israel and Chemical/Biological Weapons: History, Deterrence, and Arms Control

In April 1948, David Ben-Gurion, Israel’s founding father and first prime minister, wrote a letter to Ehud Avriel, one of the Jewish Agency’s operatives in Europe, ordering him to seek out and recruit East European Jewish scientists who could “either increase the capacityto kill masses or to cure masses; both are important.”

One of the scientists Avriel recruited was a 30-year old epidemiologist and colonel in the Red Army named Avraham Marcus Klingberg. In time, Klingberg became one of Israel’s leading scientists in the area of chemical and biological weapons (CBW). He was among the founding members and, subsequently, the deputy director of the Israel Institute of Biological Research (IIBR) in NessZiona, a dozen miles southeast of Tel Aviv.

El Al Crash Exposes Israel’s Chemical Weapons Arsenal

On Oct. 4, 1992, an Israeli cargo jet carrying three of the four components of the nerve gas Sarin, as well as other hazardous materials, crashed into an apartment building in Holland.  The known facts of the crash of El Al Flight 1862, the worst air disaster in Dutch history, reveal that Holland’s government engaged in a “huge cover-up” and lied to its citizens to help conceal Israel’s unlawful chemical weapons arsenal and the international network that supports it.

The United States…

When the United States looked the other way on chemical weapons

Why didn’t the U.S. invade Israel when it used chemical weapons on Palestinians?

Toxic paradox: America still has one of the world’s biggest chemical weapons stockpiles. Why?

Sixteen years after ratifying a treaty banning chemical weapons, the U.S. has destroyed 90 percent of its stockpile of poison gas. But the remaining 3,100 tons, stored in Colorado and Kentucky, represent one of the largest chemical arsenals in the world. Federal officials say it will take another 10 years to destroy it all.

Ed. note: Maybe they have been destroyed, maybe not. Maybe we’re still making them  Biological weapons continue to be manufactured.

Neither of the world’s two largest recipients of US military aid – Israel and Egypt – is a party to the Chemical Weapons Convention. Never has Congress or any administration of either party called on Israel or Egypt to disarm their chemical weapons arsenals, much less threatened sanctions for their failure to do so. US policy, therefore, appears to be that while it is legitimate for its allies Israel and Egypt to refuse to ratify this important arms control convention, Syria needed to be singled out for punishment for its refusal.

Rumsfeld ‘helped Iraq get chemical weapons’

As an envoy from President Reagan, he had a secret meeting with Saddam Hussein and arranged enormous military assistance for his war with Iran.

The CIA had already warned that Iraq was using chemical weapons almost daily. But Mr Rumsfeld, at the time a successful executive in the pharmaceutical industry, still made it possible for Saddam to buy supplies from American firms.

THE US and Britain sold Saddam Hussein the technology and materials Iraq needed to develop nuclear, chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction.

Reports by the US Senate’s committee on banking, housing and urban affairs — which oversees American exports policy — reveal that the US, under the successive administrations of Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr, sold materials including anthrax, VX nerve gas, West Nile fever germs and botulism to Iraq right up until March 1992, as well as germs similar to tuberculosis and pneumonia. Other bacteria sold included brucella melitensis, which damages major organs, and clostridium perfringens, which causes gas gangrene.

 Fallujah The Hidden Massacre

History: Agent Orange/Dioxin in Vietnam

The herbicides were sprayed over about 24 percent of southern Vietnam, destroying 5 million acres of upland and mangrove forests and about 500,000 acres of crops (a total area the size of Massachusetts). Of these areas, 34 percent were sprayed more than once; some of the upland forests were sprayed more than four times. One study found that 3,181 villages were sprayed as well. Areas of Laos and Cambodia near the Vietnam border were also sprayed.

4 decades after war ended, Agent Orange still ravaging Vietnamese

Le Thi Thu, 42, and her daughter, Nguyen Thi Ly, 11, live in a village south of Da Nang, Vietnam. They are second and third generation victims of dioxin exposure, the result of the U.S. military’s use of Agent Orange and other herbicides during the Vietnam War more than 40 years ago.

Agent Orange: A lethal legacy – For U.S., a record of neglect

Memories of the Vietnam War are dimming, but veterans and Vietnamese nationals who were exposed to Agent Orange and other dioxin-laced defoliants are still experiencing devastating health effects, and birth defects have brought the impact into a second generation. Yet the U.S. government has yet to make full amends, either in the U.S. or overseas.

Ed. Note: Maybe you have known Vietnam vets who eventually died from Agent Orange exposure. I have.

All of this only scratches the surface. We must also mention the chemical and biological warfare our own government has used and allowed to be used against the American people; fluoride, GM foods, deadly pharmaceutical drugs, aspartame, lab created diseases, adulterated and contaminated vaccines, etc.

Now we have….. The US secretary of state, John (Kohn) Kerry, has said that President Bashar al-Assad has one week to hand over his entire stock of chemical weapons to avoid a military attack.

If we were the great humanitarian state we suppose ourselves to be then we would say the same thing to Israel, Egypt, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia and several others.  We would also allow an independent coalition to round up all past and present war criminals, both here in the U.S. and elsewhere, for internationally sanctioned trials and punishment.     Don’t hold your breath.
