Bernanke says we’re not poor enough

US Fed Chairman Bernanke demands austerity

In remarks Monday to a conference on Asia and the global economic crisis held by the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank in Santa Barbara, California, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke called for austerity policies to rein in US budget deficits and the ballooning national debt.

In the name of reducing global economic imbalances between debtor countries with large trade deficits, such as the US, and creditor nations with large trade surpluses, such as China and Japan, Bernanke demanded that the US government adopt policies in the medium-term to cut domestic consumption and reduce social spending. At the same time, he called on China and other export-oriented Asian countries to reduce their trade and current account surpluses by encouraging a growth in domestic demand.

Bernanke declared that Asia was leading a world economic recovery, but warned that the recovery could not be allowed to produce a renewed growth of “unsustainable” imbalances in trade and capital flows. While couched in diplomatic and technical terminology, his remarks had definite and ominous implications for the working class, above all in the United States.

Reflecting the consensus within the American ruling elite, and the class policy of the Obama administration, the central bank chief was implicitly insisting that the economic crisis be used to carry through a drastic and permanent lowering of the wages and living standards of the American working class. In essence, the United States is to be transformed into a cheap-labor center for the export of industrial and other goods to the world market. The living standards and conditions of American workers are to be brought more closely into line with those of super-exploited workers in Asia.

He neglected to note that the major factor in the explosive growth of the federal deficit is the multi-trillion-dollar bailout of Wall Street, which he and the Obama administration are carrying out.

Pimpin’ the Demise of America

The Outstanding Public Debt as of 09 Aug 2009 is:

$ 1 1 , 6 7 1 , 8 7 6 , 3 6 9 , 4 5 3 . 8 2

The estimated population of the United States is 306,704,639
so each citizen’s share of this debt is $38,055.75.

Who Owns the Debt

https://i1.wp.com/www.brillig.com/debt_clock/owed.gif

As you can see, the largest slice of the pie, over 40%, is owed to the Federal Reserve.

The above numbers are probably the low end of estimates and there’s much more debt to come.

This is where a chunk of our debt has gone.

https://i0.wp.com/www.justforeignpolicy.org/images/iraqdeaths.gif

See here for some ‘official’ numbers of US causalities in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We know the death numbers are suppressed. It doesn’t include suicides and the after the fact deaths of those who come home and die prematurely for reasons related to their war zone experience. The lessons of the returning Vietnam war vets, hundreds of thousands dying before their time because of physical and mental problems, will be repeated with the new wars.

More to come. Analysts Expect Long-Term, Costly U.S. Campaign in Afghanistan.

It’s very common knowledge that the middle east wars are for control of oil, water, pipelines, opium and the zionist dream of a greater israel as the center of a world criminal enterprise. The ‘Balkanization’ of the middle east would go a long way toward achieving these goals and the amount of American lives and theft of the working class money is insignificant to the psychopathic, sociopathic criminals who are attempting to pull the strings.

The health care debate is nothing but a diversion to the real thefts going on. Provocateur enhanced ‘town hall meetings’ are not doing a thing to stop the bottom line stealing by the bankers and killing by the military corporate complex.

There seems to be one more big diversion coming. We can’t worry about the crime scams if we are sick or scared. Not a single local TV news show at any hour of the day or night is not pimpin’ the opening of school and the coming H1N1 ‘pandemic.’ Gotta get that shot and up the debt by who knows how many more billions. Is this a criminally engineered bioweapon that even if it doesn’t kill a lot of us, will keep us distracted for a long time.? Long enough for the thieves and killers to do more damage without a lot of attention focused their way?

Throw our money around like you are coke addled pimp Obama. It’s what you are tasked to do. You are rivaling the Bush/Clinton/Bush corruption in deaths and destruction of our economy, lifestyles and rights.

“Good job Barack,” I can hear your handlers saying. And to think that some folks thought you wouldn’t bring ‘change.’

Your controllers will let you live as long as you keep this up.

Tennessee Sales Tax Holiday

Eliminating taxes is stimulating.

http://cmsimg.tennessean.com/apps/pbcsi.dll/bilde?Site=DN&Date=20090808&Category=BUSINESS01&ArtNo=908080311&Ref=AR&MaxW=180&Border=0 Customers line up outside the Apple Store at The Mall at Green Hills in Nashville to take advantage of the sales-tax holiday.

Shops are expected to be even busier today.

Items exempt from the state sales tax through Sunday:

• Clothing priced at $100 or less per item, including shirts, dresses, pants, coats, gloves and mittens, hats and caps, hosiery, neckties, belts, sneakers, shoes, uniforms and scarves.

• School supplies priced at $100 or less per item, such as binders, book bags, calculators, tape, chalk, crayons, erasers, folders, glue, pens, pencils, lunch boxes, notebooks, paper, rulers and scissors.

• Art supplies priced at $100 or less per item, including clay, glazes, acrylics, oil paints, paint brushes for art, sketch or drawing pads, and watercolors.

• Computers $1,500 or less: That includes a central processing unit, along with other components, if purchased in a bundled computer package such as monitor, keyboard, mouse, cables and preloaded software.

Now let’s imagine for a moment how the economy would begin to flourish if only one other tax was rescinded. That would be the federal income tax on personal labor.

And where does this forced taxation money go? To pay the interest to the Federal Reserve on the forced debt.

Looking at our collective credit card statement, I see that our balance is a whopping $11.6 Trillion Dollars!

The interest paid on the National Debt is the third largest expense in the federal budget. In 2008 the government spent $412 Billion of our money on interest payments to our creditors. At the midway point of this year (June 2009), the interest expense so far for this year is $321 Billion! At the half way point! {more}

There is a better way. Eliminate the criminal syndicate that the Fed is and take back our control of the money. It’s been done in the past and can be done again.

We won’t even go into the costs of the bogus foreign wars, the ‘war on terror,’ the ‘war on drugs’ and the bloated excesses of the federal government.

I think most of us are willing to pay a fair amount of state and local taxes if that revenue is used without corruption but there is very little honesty in the federal government’s unconstitutional theft of our income from labor.

Is anyone listening?

Davy Crockett in 1828 "Not Yours to Give"

Tennessee’s legendary favorite son allegedly gave a speech before Congress in 1828 that reflected a change in his attitude towards government spending. We could use a few more like Davy today to rein in the ‘charity’ spending to banks and special interests.

Col. David Crockett
US Representative from Tennessee

Originally published in “The Life of Colonel David Crockett,”
by Edward Sylvester Ellis.

One day in the House of Representatives a bill was taken up appropriating money for the benefit of a widow of a distinguished naval officer. Several beautiful speeches had been made in its support. The Speaker was just about to put the question when Crockett arose:

“Mr. Speaker–I have as much respect for the memory of the deceased, and as much sympathy for the sufferings of the living, if suffering there be, as any man in this House, but we must not permit our respect for the dead or our sympathy for a part of the living to lead us into an act of injustice to the balance of the living. I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has not the power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member upon this floor knows it. We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money. Some eloquent appeals have been made to us upon the ground that it is a debt due the deceased. Mr. Speaker, the deceased lived long after the close of the war; he was in office to the day of his death, and I have never heard that the government was in arrears to him.

“Every man in this House knows it is not a debt. We cannot, without the grossest corruption, appropriate this money as the payment of a debt. We have not the semblance of authority to appropriate it as charity. Mr. Speaker, I have said we have the right to give as much money of our own as we please. I am the poorest man on this floor. I cannot vote for this bill, but I will give one week’s pay to the object, and if every member of Congress will do the same, it will amount to more than the bill asks.”

He took his seat. Nobody replied. The bill was put upon its passage, and, instead of passing unanimously, as was generally supposed, and as, no doubt, it would, but for that speech, it received but few votes, and, of course, was lost.

Later, when asked by a friend why he had opposed the appropriation, Crockett gave this explanation:

“Several years ago I was one evening standing on the steps of the Capitol with some other members of Congress, when our attention was attracted by a great light over in Georgetown. It was evidently a large fire. We jumped into a hack and drove over as fast as we could. In spite of all that could be done, many houses were burned and many families made houseless, and, besides, some of them had lost all but the clothes they had on. The weather was very cold, and when I saw so many women and children suffering, I felt that something ought to be done for them. The next morning a bill was introduced appropriating $20,000 for their relief. We put aside all other business and rushed it through as soon as it could be done.

“The next summer, when it began to be time to think about election, I concluded I would take a scout around among the boys of my district. I had no opposition there, but, as the election was some time off, I did not know what might turn up. When riding one day in a part of my district in which I was more of a stranger than any other, I saw a man in a field plowing and coming toward the road. I gauged my gait so that we should meet as he came to the fence. As he came up, I spoke to the man. He replied politely, but, as I thought, rather coldly.

“I began: ‘Well, friend, I am one of those unfortunate beings called
candidates, and—

“Yes I know you; you are Colonel Crockett. I have seen you once before, and voted for you the last time you were elected. I suppose you are out electioneering now, but you had better not waste your time or mine, I shall not vote for you again.”

“This was a sockdolager…I begged him to tell me what was the matter.

Well, Colonel, it is hardly worthwhile to waste time or words upon it. I do not see how it can be mended, but you gave a vote last winter which shows that either you have not capacity to understand the Constitution, or that you are wanting in the honesty and firmness to be guided by it. In either case you are not the man to represent me. But I beg your pardon for expressing it in that way. I did not intend to avail myself of the privilege of the constituent to speak plainly to a candidate for the purpose of insulting or wounding you. I intend by it only to say that your understanding of the Constitution is very different from mine; and I will say to you what, but for my rudeness, I should not have said, that I believe you to be honest.
But an understanding of the Constitution different from mine I cannot overlook, because the Constitution, to be worth anything, must be held sacred, and rigidly observed in all its provisions. The man who wields power and misinterprets it is the more dangerous the more honest he is.’

” ‘I admit the truth of all you say, but there must be some mistake about it, for I do not remember that I gave any vote last winter upon any constitutional question.’

“ ‘No, Colonel, there’s no mistake. Though I live in the backwoods and seldom go from home, I take the papers from Washington and read very carefully all the proceedings of Congress. My papers say that last winter you voted for a bill to appropriate $20,000 to some sufferers by a fire in Georgetown. Is that true?

Well, my friend; I may as well own up. You have got me there. But certainly nobody will complain that a great and rich country like ours should give the insignificant sum of $20,000 to relieve its suffering women and children, particularly with a full and overflowing Treasury, and I am sure, if you had been there, you would have done just as I did.’

It is not the amount, Colonel, that I complain of; it is the principle. In the first place, the government ought to have in the Treasury no more than enough for its legitimate purposes. But that has nothing with the question. The power of collecting and disbursing money at pleasure is the most dangerous power that can be entrusted to man, particularly under our system of collecting revenue by a tariff, which reaches every man in the country, no matter how poor he may be, and the poorer he is the more he pays in proportion to his means. What is worse, it presses upon him without his knowledge where the weight centers, for there is not a man in the United States who can ever guess how much he pays to the government. So you see, that while you are contributing to relieve one, you are drawing it from thousands who are even worse off than he. If you had the right to give anything, the amount was simply a matter of discretion with you, and you had as much right to give $20,000,000 as $20,000. If you have the right to give to one, you have the right to give to all; and, as the Constitution neither defines charity nor stipulates the amount, you are at liberty to give to any and everything which you may believe, or profess to believe, is a charity, and to any amount you may think proper. You will very easily perceive what a wide door this would open for fraud and corruption and favoritism, on the one hand, and for robbing the people on the other. No, Colonel, Congress has no right to give charity. Individual members may give as much of their own money as they please, but they have no right to touch a dollar of the public money for that purpose. If twice as many houses had been burned in this county as in Georgetown, neither you nor any other member of Congress would have thought of appropriating a dollar for our relief. There are about two hundred and forty members of Congress. If they had shown their sympathy for the sufferers by contributing each one week’s pay, it would have made over $13,000. There are plenty of wealthy men in and around Washington who could have given $20,000 without depriving themselves of even a luxury of life.‘ “The congressmen chose to keep their own money, which, if reports be true, some of them spend not very creditably; and the people about Washington, no doubt, applauded you for relieving them from the necessity of giving by giving what was not yours to give. The people have delegated to Congress, by the Constitution, the power to do certain things. To do these, it is authorized to collect and pay moneys, and for nothing else. Everything beyond this is usurpation, and a violation of the Constitution.

” ‘So you see, Colonel, you have violated the Constitution in what I consider a vital point. It is a precedent fraught with danger to the country, for when Congress once begins to stretch its power beyond the limits of the Constitution, there is no limit to it, and no security for the people. I have no doubt you acted honestly, but that does not make it any better, except as far as you are personally concerned, and you see that I cannot vote for you.’

“I tell you I felt streaked. I saw if I should have opposition, and this man should go to talking, he would set others to talking, and in that district I was a gone fawn-skin. I could not answer him, and the fact is, I was so fully convinced that he was right, I did not want to. But I must satisfy him, and I said to him:

Well, my friend, you hit the nail upon the head when you said I had not sense enough to understand the Constitution. I intended to be guided by it, and thought I had studied it fully. I have heard many speeches in Congress about the powers of Congress, but what you have said here at your plow has got more hard, sound sense in it than all the fine speeches I ever heard. If I had ever taken the view of it that you have, I would have put my head into the fire before I would have given that vote; and if you will forgive me and vote for me again, if I ever vote for another unconstitutional law I wish I may be shot.’

“He laughingly replied; ‘Yes, Colonel, you have sworn to that once before, but I will trust you again upon one condition. You say that you are convinced that your vote was wrong. Your acknowledgment of it will do more good than beating you for it. If, as you go around the district, you will tell people about this vote, and that you are satisfied it was wrong, I will not only vote for you, but will do what I can to keep down opposition, and, perhaps, I may exert some little influence in that way.’

If I don’t, said I, ‘I wish I may be shot; and to convince you that I am in earnest in what I say I will come back this way in a week or ten days, and if you will get up a gathering of the people, I will make a speech to them. Get up a barbecue, and I will pay for it.’

No, Colonel, we are not rich people in this section, but we have plenty of provisions to contribute for a barbecue, and some to spare for those who have none. The push of crops will be over in a few days, and we can then afford a day for a barbecue. This is Thursday; I will see to getting it up on Saturday week. Come to my house on Friday, and we will go together, and I promise you a very respectable crowd to see and hear you.

” ‘Well, I will be here. But one thing more before I say good-bye. I must know your name.

” ‘My name is Bunce.’

” ‘Not Horatio Bunce?’

” ‘Yes.’

” ‘Well, Mr. Bunce, I never saw you before, though you say you have seen me, but I know you very well. I am glad I have met you, and very proud that I may hope to have you for my friend.’

“It was one of the luckiest hits of my life that I met him. He mingled but little with the public, but was widely known for his remarkable intelligence and incorruptible integrity, and for a heart brimful and running over with kindness and benevolence, which showed themselves not only in words but in acts. He was the oracle of the whole country around him, and his fame had extended far beyond the circle of his immediate acquaintance. Though I had never met him, before, I had heard much of him, and but for this meeting it is very likely I should have had opposition, and had been beaten. One thing is very certain, no man could now stand up in that district under such a vote.

“At the appointed time I was at his house, having told our conversation to every crowd I had met, and to every man I stayed all night with, and I found that it gave the people an interest and a confidence in me stronger than I had ever seen manifested before.

“Though I was considerably fatigued when I reached his house, and, under ordinary circumstances, should have gone early to bed, I kept him up until midnight, talking about the principles and affairs of government, and got more real, true knowledge of them than I had got all my life before.

“I have known and seen much of him since, for I respect him – no, that is not the word – I reverence and love him more than any living man, and I go to see him two or three times every year; and I will tell you, sir, if every one who professes to be a Christian lived and acted and enjoyed it as he does, the religion of Christ would take the world by storm.

“But to return to my story. The next morning we went to the barbecue, and, to my surprise, found about a thousand men there. I met a good many whom I had not known before, and they and my friend introduced me around until I had got pretty well acquainted – at least, they all knew me.

“In due time notice was given that I would speak to them. They gathered up around a stand that had been erected. I opened my speech by saying:

Fellow-citizens – I present myself before you today feeling like a new man. My eyes have lately been opened to truths which ignorance or prejudice, or both, had heretofore hidden from my view. I feel that I can today offer you the ability to render you more valuable service than I have ever been able to render before. I am here today more for the purpose of acknowledging my error than to seek your votes. That I should make this acknowledgment is due to myself as well as to you. Whether you will vote for me is a matter for your consideration only.

“I went on to tell them about the fire and my vote for the appropriation and then told them why I was satisfied it was wrong. I closed by saying:

And now, fellow-citizens, it remains only for me to tell you that the most of the speech you have listened to with so much interest was simply a repetition of the arguments by which your neighbor, Mr. Bunce, convinced me of my error.

It is the best speech I ever made in my life, but he is entitled to the
credit for it. And now I hope he is satisfied with his convert and that he will get up here and tell you so.’

“He came upon the stand and said:

Fellow-citizens – It affords me great pleasure to comply with the request of Colonel Crockett. I have always considered him a thoroughly honest man, and I am satisfied that he will faithfully perform all that he has promised you today.’

“He went down, and there went up from that crowd such a shout for Davy Crockett as his name never called forth before.

“I am not much given to tears, but I was taken with a choking then and felt some big drops rolling down my cheeks. And I tell you now that the remembrance of those few words spoken by such a man, and the honest, hearty shout they produced, is worth more to me than all the honors I have received and all the reputation I have ever made, or ever shall make, as a member of Congress.

“Now, sir,” concluded Crockett, “you know why I made that speech yesterday.

“There is one thing now to which I will call your attention. You remember that I proposed to give a week’s pay. There are in that House many very wealthy men – men who think nothing of spending a week’s pay, or a dozen of them, for a dinner or a wine party when they have something to accomplish by it. Some of those same men made beautiful speeches upon the great debt of gratitude which the country owed the deceased–a debt which could not be paid by money–and the insignificance and worthlessness of money, particularly so insignificant a sum as $10,000, when weighed against the honor of the nation. Yet not one of them responded to my proposition. Money with them is nothing but trash when it is to come out of the people. But it is the one great thing for which most of them are striving, and many of them sacrifice honor, integrity, and justice to obtain it.” {source}

The Herding Technique

Lots of tea parties…..and then?

Do you know what the herding technique is? Do you know what ‘controlled opposition’ means?

In two days, millions of Americans will try to pay the IRS whatever they have left in their bank account. With the unemployment rate running as high as 13% in some states, this annual grand larceny isn’t going to produce the piles of money these thieves in Washington, DC want to fund the continuation of these immoral invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and trillions in social spending. The usurper president has requested a whopping “new” $83.4 BILLION dollars that doesn’t exist to fund these putrid “wars” when the people’s purse is now overdrawn $11.1 TRILLION dollars. An emailer sent me a tearful note the other day. She said she’s self employed as is her husband. After the meager deductions they’re allowed, they “owe” more than $8,000 on April 15, 2009. Once they pay that, their savings account will be down to $600.00. Everything they’ve saved will go up in smoke and she asked me, “Why bother working when we can’t, no matter how hard we try, save one penny? Everything we save for the rest of this year, the IRS will steal next April.” It will be much worse than she can imagine.

Well, that is the agenda, isn’t it? Loot and bankrupt this republic until the people are so desperate they will get down on their knees and beg for mother government to “save them.” The goal is world government brought on by an engineered financial crisis. Here is a superb analysis of what how things stand today.

However, the worst is coming, mark my words.

The message that the Federal Reserve and the IRS are illegal entities with only one purpose, enslaving the population, falls on the deaf ears of taxpayers. Still believe that your federal tax dollars pay for governmental services? In reality it all goes to pay the interest on the federal debt. The Fed prints money out of thin air, loans it to the US government and charges interest for doing so. The Fed and their central bank owners with their enforcement arm, the IRS, is the longest running scam in the history of our republic.

Central Banks! Income Tax! Are They a Scam Designed to Enslave Humanity

Do you know that in the USA alone it was determined by the Presidentially sanctioned Grace Commission during the Reagan administration, as early as 1983, that ALL of the income tax collected in the United States of America, that which they could account for (since a whole lot goes missing), goes solely to pay the interest on the national debt?

In 1913 the majority of the few truly free people in America lost not only their freedom, but the freedom of generations to come, with the enactment of the Federal Reserve Act. This Act was passed on christmas while most of our elected officials were in their home states with their families. The fact is even after the abolition of slavery made as an amendment to the constitution many Americans were not truly free including the native Americans most non Caucasians most women and even groups from countries like Ireland. However in 1913 a cunning scam long in the planning was brought into effect, which would enslave the majority of those privileged few really free Americans along with everyone else, even those minorities who were tricked into believing they were now being granted freedom. This cunning plan was to be a two pronged attack consisting of a privately owned federal reserve bank and an internal revenue service to collect a constitutionally illegal unapportioned income tax. With these two institutions in place the machinations to enslave us all were turned on right under the noses of what has become an increasingly unaware public. It is a simple plan and diabolical in it’s simplicity.

The Federal Reserve Act gave a private bank the right to print all of America’s money created from nothing and loan that money to the government and other banks at interest. This was the end of the government in America printing it’s own money and the beginning of the need to place a new and unconstitutional type of tax on the people of America to pay for this new plan of national indebtedness. Despite the fact that prior to 1913 the American government had printed its own money and had done so since it’s formation! Income tax is unconstitutional and has been ruled so by the supreme court in multiple cases, yet most Americans are compelled to pay through a campaign of intentional duress propagated and perpetuated by the Internal Revenue Service and other compliant agencies including America’s law enforcement agencies, lower courts and its intentionally under and even misinformed juries.

The lives of countless Americans are destroyed every year and their property stolen by an unconstitutional agency and this is being not only ignored but encouraged by the government. Of course the government is supporting this corruption that is what is funding them! Look at who their campaign contributers are! Look at who chairs the roundtable organizations they belong to! It’s the same people funding them that profit off of the interest from the national debt, the private owners of the central banks! This is a considerable amount of interest we are talking about.

In 1983 the presidentially sponsored Grace Commission stated that all the federal income tax collected in America which could be accounted for, (they seem to just misplace a hell of a lot,) went directly to paying only the interest on the national debt. The practical upshot of which is not one penny of the federal income tax collected actually went to funding any kind of governmental program.

Think about that for a moment, more than 25 years ago the debt was so large that all the federal income taxes had to be used to pay only the interest. Which means they had to borrow even more money to run the government, which means the interest is of course now even more; it is a vicious cycle. The government is already taking one third of the income of many Americans in the form of income taxes. What will they do when that one third is not enough to cover the interest? How long will it take before even the full income of the American worker no longer pays even the interest on the national debt? Do you see how we have all been trapped and enslaved?

Before 1913 there was no income tax. By 1983, seventy short years after the creation of the federal reserve bank, Americans are now expected to pay in perpetuity the interest on a debt that has no hope of ever being paid back. A debt that need never have existed if America had truly remained sovereign over its’ own money supply.

As always nothing remains static and now portions of the ever increasing American National Debt have been sold to China. Which means that yes, at least part of your income taxes are going to the Chinese Government. The sovereignty and the labour of the American people have been sold out to private and now foreign interests. Be careful peoples of the world if this scam has not yet arrived where you live it is on its’ way. Once aware of the facts be aware we all have a choice. I will be choosing non-violent non-compliance.

The IRS is a fraud that collects taxes for the Banking Dynasties

100% of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the Federal Debt … all
individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services
taxpayers expect from government.”
-Grace Commission report submitted to President Ronald Reagan – January 15, 1984

Ronald Reagan was promptly shot after he dared to criticize the Fed, on the same day that the Pope was shot. After recovering, he changed his mind and praised the Fed. About seven US Presidents have been assassinated for not cooperating with the Transatlantic Banking Dynasties (William Henry Harrison, poisoned, in 1841, Zachary Taylor, Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and John F. Kennedy 1963; 7 if FDR’s poisoning is counted).

Most of us feel sick when we realize that Not one dime of IRS money goes to the US Gov’t, according to Reagan’s Grace Commission: it all goes to pay interest on a bogus debt to the Private Federal Reserve (FED), just to allow paper money to circulate as “Federal Reserve Notes”. The Federal Reserve is a private Corporation eventually owned by the Rockefellers and Rothschilds Dynasties through intermediary agents, designed to suck the capital dry from the U.S., as the Rothschilds do in Europe. Read Billions for the Bankers, Debts for the People

The final report of the 1984 Grace Commission, convened under President Ronald Reagan, quietly admitted that none of the funds they collect from federal income taxes goes to pay for any federal government services. The Grace Commission found that those funds were being used to pay for interest on the federal debt, and income transfer payments to beneficiaries of entitlement programs like federal pension plans.

The “President’s Private Sector Survey on Cost Control”, commonly referred to as the 1984 Reagan “Grace Commission Report” reveals that 100% of the “income tax” collected is applied against the interest of the national debt. The government operates on a deficit that is created from nothing by the Privately Owned Fed (owned by the same folks who own the major commercial banks) at interest, i.e. what could be created debt free and usury free by the Treasury has been usurped by the Banking Dynasties who have been ruling the World since ancient times. Taxes are a way of controlling, or manipulating the economy. They also give people a faith in the funny money — makes it Near and dear to them.
Balanced budgets and budget surpluses are a smoke and mirror trick. They sound really good, play well for the people, but are nothing more than panderings.

Even the inventor of the electric light, Thomas Edison, joined the fray in criticizing the system of the Federal Reserve: “If our nation can issue a dollar bond, it can issue a dollar bill. The element that makes the bond good, makes the bill good, also… It is absurd to say that our country can issue $30 million in bonds and not $30 million in currency. Both are promises to pay, but one promise fattens the usurers and the other helps the people.”

In President Lincoln’s words (he was assassinated by the Banksters’ agent) ”The
Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of consumers. By the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest.”

Military, War, Israel and the Federal Reserve. The more things ‘change’ the more they stay the same.

$30 Billion For Israel’s Military

U.S. President Barack Obama will not cut the billions of dollars in military aid promised to Israel, a senior U.S. administration official said Wednesday. The $30 billion in aid promised to Israel over the next decade will not be harmed by the world financial crisis, the official told Israel Radio. He spoke on condition of anonymity.

The U.S. military aid to Israel was increased in a decade-long deal agreed to by Bush in 2007. OTOH, U.S. will pay close to $1 billion for rebuilding the wreckage in Gaza mostly caused by armaments paid for by the U.S.! To add insult to injury, there is a condition on that money:

Clinton: Some $900 million pledged by the United States to the Palestinians will be withdrawn if the expected Palestinian Authority coalition government between Fatah and Hamas does not recognize Israel’s right to exist, Western and Israeli diplomats said Wednesday.

At least 24 people were killed today when four missiles fired from US drones hit a residential building in Barjo, Kurram Agency. Local officials characterized the building as a “militant hideout” and said it had been completely destroyed.

One security official said that those killed were “mainly Afghan Taliban,” and that the facility was run by local Taliban commander Fazal Saeed and training was underway at the time of the strike.” Militants cordoned off the area and have been retrieving bodies from the rubble. Officials say no “high-value” targets were believed to be among those killed

It was the second major US attack on the Kurram Agency in less than a month: in mid-February an attack killed 31 people including an alleged commander named Bahram Khan Kochi. The Obama Administration was reported earlier this week to be planning a dramatic escalation of the number and intensity of the US strikes into Pakistan.

Petraeus Discusses The Changing Terrain of War

Gen. David Patraeus

GEN. DAVID PETRAEUS, commander of U.S. Central Command, speaks to members of the World Affairs Council of Connecticut at Goodwin College in East Hartford. He said of the U.S. facing counterinsurgency abroad: “It is tough, grinding, difficult, complex and frustrating.” (MICHAEL MCANDREWS / HARTFORD COURANT / March 13, 2009)

What keeps Gen. David H. Petraeus awake at night?

“The turmoil in Pakistan,” he told an audience in East Hartford on Friday night.

Then he continued, geographically.

Afghanistan: “Vice President Biden had it exactly right when he said it’s going to get harder before it gets easier,” he said.

President Barack Obama is expected to re-focus on Afghanistan, and Petraeus said it will require more troops, more civilian efforts, more funding and a new kind of effort.

“We are constructing, not reconstructing,” he said of Afghanistan.

Using Mexico to help usher in the NAU.

Who benefits from the destabilization of Mexico ?

KNX News radio station a subsidiary of Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS) reported this week that most of the guns that land in the hands of the drug cartel allegedly came from the black market in the United States . Ironically, most of the drugs that enter the United States from Mexico , have been funneled to the Mexican drug lords through rendition flights from Columbia (cocaine) and Afghanistan (opium) to Mexico , then, rerouted to the US through the Mexican drug lords. Per example, On September 24, 2007, a Florida based Gulfstream II jet aircraft, number N987SA, crashed in the Yucatan . As it turns out, not only was the plane used on at least three CIA rendition flights from Europe and the United States to the Guantánamo torture chamber, but it was loaded with tons of cocaine when it went down. El Nuevo Herald reported that the CIA plane was loaded up with 3.3 tons of coke in Medellín, Colombia, and was used to ferry “hundreds of delinquents,” including alleged members of the Taliban, to Cuba for water boarding and other specialties. [10]. (You can also see video of crash on youtube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oszATUJ4IRE)

Historically, most of the illegal activities especially in drugs and human trafficking, originate in the poorer and the less developed areas of the world, then, moves across borders to rich, developed country markets. In order for this process to take place, criminal organizations are fostered, subsidized, and protected by high level government officials, in order to launder money throughout the international banking systems and to increase the global cash flow. The IMF has reported in 2003, that 1.5 trillion US dollars a year is laundered through banks, where 500 to 600 billion dollars of that money is from drug trade and the aggregate size of money laundering in the world could be somewhere between 2 to 5 percent of the world’s GDP. It has also been a well known and documented fact in the press and in congressional records that the US intelligence agencies have dealt and circulated drugs in the US and abroad for many years.

So, is there a connection between our global policies and the destabilization of Mexico?

It would make sense to assume that Mexico is going to become a national security risk for the United States , which in turn will justify our Samaritan military aid and intervention to help the Mexican government contain the Mexican drug cartel. Therefore, Mexico will become a safer place for transnational corporations like Chevron and Exxon-Mobil. In addition, this process will pave the way for the security and prosperity partnership to unravel, as well as the privatization of Mexico ’s oil and natural resources and their takeover by the global corporations. As a result, a massive transfer of wealth and power to the new North American Union Government will unfold.

Is the American public aware and in agreement with the SPP?

Are we going to witness more conflict within our borders due to economic woes, or contrived attacks, which in return will solidify further the iron hand of our new democratic-socialist government?

Are we going to witness another major economic collapse like the prospective commercial real estate disaster that will cause major reverberations in the stock market, will induce further impoverishment of the population, and will lead to more bailouts leading to higher inflation, new currency, and poorer standard of living?

Are we heading toward civil unrest incited by the economic woes that will lead to the balkanization of America ?

Or, are we simply going to be led like sheep to the slaughter house where we will give up our freedom to satisfy our primal needs like food, shelter, and safety, then, become totally impoverished, micro-chipped, and controlled, and finally be forced into accepting the new global order?

As long as we have the Federal Reserve in control of the criminal activities they call monetary policies, it doesn’t matter much who is president.

Stress Test Zombies

There are certain professions in which the collective genius of the American people dominates the field: semiconductor design, fast food product differentiation, fire-control systems for air-to-air combat, and con artistry. That these are not, at the moment, sufficient to earn a current account surplus, is a problem being worked on, not least by the service exporters in the latter occupation.

Now, in most parts of the country, a TARP is used to cover unneeded things, usually a pile of stuff nobody wants, far in the back yard. This is essentially the plan articulated by Bernanke and Geithner: Buy the bad assets, invest more capital in the zombie banks, and hope asset prices eventually recover. This is not a plan to do anything but buy time and extend losses. The scary part is that nobody else in the Obama White House seems to know enough about finance to argue the point.

Below is our best guess as to the identity of the 19 or so banks that are part of the stress test process. We hear in the community that these 19 domestic financials are the de facto “Too Big Too Fail” banks, which of course means that all other banks are not part of the group. We should probably add American International Group (NYSE:AIG) and the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp, which owns a Fed member bank, to the TBTF list.

image001_512_52.gif

The Bernanke/Geithner approach to not dealing with the financial crisis amounts to a hideous public subsidy of the global transactional class, a transfer of wealth from American taxpayers to the institutional investors who hold the bonds and derivative obligations tied to the zombie banks, AIG and the GSEs. All of these companies will require continuing cash subsidies if they are not resolved in bankruptcy.

Bottom line: The policy decision articulated this week by Bernanke and Geithner represents the largest transfer of wealth in American history, yet no legislation and been passed and no meaningful debate has occurred. The biggest danger facing the markets is that Ben and Tim still do not seem to have a clue what to do about the big banks — other than to write more checks against the public trust. The conflict over this decision to pass the cost to the taxpayer, between the Fed, Treasury and the Congress, on the one hand, and the Wall Street dealer banks is staggering, yet nothing is said in the Big Media.

Bernanke, will you tell the American people to whom the Federal Reserve lent $2.2 trillion of their dollars – video

Bernanke responded that the Fed explains the various lending programs on its website, and details the terms and collateral requirements.
When Sanders pressed on whether he would name the firms that borrowed from the Fed, the central bank chairman replied, “No,” and started to say that doing so risked stigmatizing banks and discouraging them from borrowing from the central bank.
“Isn’t that too bad,” Sanders interrupted, cutting off Bernanke’s answer. “They took the money but they don’t want to be public about the fact that they received it.”
He said businesses in his state were in trouble and needed loans, but were not permitted to borrow from the Fed.
“Do you have to be a large, greedy, reckless financial institution to apply for this money?” he asked.
Bernanke said the Fed’s lending programs were not gifts or subsidies but rather over-collateralized loans. He said the law restricted the types of firms to which the central bank can lend.
“We have never lost a penny doing it,” he said.
Sanders responded: “Let me just say this, Mr. Chairman. I have a hard time understanding how you have put $2.2 trillion at risk without making those names available, those institutions public.”
“We are going to introduce legislation today, by the way, to demand that you do that. It is unacceptable to me that that this goes on,” he added. (Reporting by Emily Kaiser, Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)

Geithner on AIG: AIG Allowed Without Any Adult Supervision! – video

Notice that Geithner has a tendency to use neck choking hand symbols when speaking to anyone who questions him. It’s also symbolic of the stranglehold the Fed has over the US.

Geithner also uses the term ‘your government’ several times in his testemony (at about 3:25 in the video). We know he does not work for ‘we the people’ and his Freudian slip betrays this.

These two liars and criminals should be arrested. Treason would be one of the charges.

Bernanke should have been taken into custody yesterday for contempt of Congress.

Of course Congress is too scared for their lives and careers to take on the Fed.

Ron Paul is the only opposing voice but so far it has gotten us nowhere.

“The chairman of the Federal Reserve board is more powerful than our President.”
“He’s certainly more powerful than the congress.”
