homeland security scam

No Expectation of Privacy

Homeland Security money rolling into the coffers of local police buys a lot of toys and the expectation of loyalty when the feds may need a favor.

Although not new, they are being used in other states and in foreign countries,  it is just now being reported that law enforcement departments across middle Tennessee are using high-tech cameras to create a detailed picture of the whereabouts of thousands of cars, regardless of whether they are suspected of any link to criminal activity.” “Police say that this ability to capture license plates is among the most powerful new crime-fighting tools at their disposal.”

This surveillance is not only being done on public streets but in parking lots of apartments and condos and even on cars parked in one’s own driveway. Police cruisers mounted with the cameras are just the beginning. Fixed locations are being added and unlike red light cameras, these record every vehicle going by.  It’s all in the name of catching the bad guys and of course protecting the children but if a few parking ticket offenders and yes, even tax dodgers are caught, so much the better. The locals and the feds need a return on investment.

The information goes into a database of time, date and place and sits there until someone takes action on it. The potential for hackers to use or manipulate data is real and mistakes are going to occur. A stolen license plate at a crime scene could result in a SWAT team knocking an innocent person’s door down. It happens.

There are so many of these ‘toys’ in the pipeline that we can only guess what will come next. The effect is cumulative. Each technology builds on another and soon we will see drones added to the mix. I don’t think I read in the constitution that “you are a suspect until you prove yourself innocent” but not everyone cares about an old piece of paper.

For the time being, in most places we still have the right to turn the other camera so to speak. A local man was likely saved from going to jail because of a recording of his close encounter with a bad lying cop. The cop was even charged with a crime in this case. Sometimes it happens.

“A totalitarian state is in effect a theocracy, and its ruling caste, in order to keep its position, has to be thought of as infallible.”

“The word Fascism has now no meaning except in so far as it signifies ‘something not desirable’…. Since you don’t know what Fascism is, how can you struggle against Fascism?”

“In our age there is no such thing as “keeping out of politics.” All issues are political issues, and politics itself is a mass of lies, evasions, folly, hatred and schizophrenia.”

“If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – forever.”

“We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of
intelligent men.”

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

Before she gets to discuss ‘homeland’ security with the Israelis, Janet Napolitano must perform the chosen ones as forever victims ritual, ‘laying a wreath during a ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem January 3, 2011.

Napolitano called the experience “powerful.”

Then Janet gets to sit through a short ‘off topic’ lecture from  President Shimon Peres on the dangers of Iran  as reported exclusively by Israel’s most trusted media outlet Fox News.

The meeting between Napolitano and Peres had been planned as a discussion of global aviation security and related issues, but with the press gathered for the opening moments of their session, the Israeli leader instead took up the subject of Iran’s nuclear program.

Peres warned Napolitano that Iran’s neighbors could become “victims of the Iranian ambition,” and took aim at the U.S. government and media for their reactions to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s speech at the United Nations in September.

“If I may criticize the United States with your permission, we saw Ahmadinejad appearing in New York at the United Nations and accusing that the Americans have destroyed their own Twin Towers,” said Peres, adding that he thought the remark was so outlandish it wouldn’t get any attention. “Instead all of the televisions were after Ahmadinejad. My God. Everybody knows it’s a lie.”

Peres called on the international community to “raise the voice not necessarily just of the (Obama) administration and government, but all fair-minded people,” describing Ahmadinejad as “one of the most dangerous and cruel leaders of our time.”

Peres referred to “homeland security” only in the context of Israel’s struggle with neighboring Palestinian territories. He called Napolitano’s visit to Israel a “very useful and timely visit because home security is a top priority around the world, and more than anywhere in Israel itself.” {more}

I doubt that Napolitano even saw a Palestinian during her visit. I wonder if she discussed how well Israeli security worked in killing a young woman with poison tear gas just two days ago or how bombing a church in Egypt helps the homeland. Maybe she picked up some tips in state sponsored assassinations, something Israel is so proud of that they have their own special wikipedia page touting their prowess.
Peres was dead wrong when lashing out at Ahmadinejad for his 9/11 false flag accusations …  “My God. Everybody knows it’s a lie.”   No, millions are aware it was a U.S./Israeli operation. That what makes this Napolitano visit so sick. Our major security issue is with Israel and our own American traitors and the money changers that are pulling the strings. The blackmail has gone too far and Napolitano’s fake security racket benefits no one but criminals inside and out of government.

Napolitano is getting the message first hand. She’ll return to the ‘homeland’ a much wiser whore.

Did the SPLC and ADL have a hand in FBI-DHS Militia Raids?

Posted on

Michigan Militia member James Schiel, second from left, told AnnArbor.com today {3-28-10} that five people were arrested in the raids. He is pictured with Hutaree member Wendy Lineweaver, a member who goes by the name Chainsaw, a member named Kevin, and Will Bachman. In the photo, they were helping local law enforcement officials search for a Bridgewater Township man who was missing in February. {more}

Feds confirm ‘activities’ in southeastern Michigan

Federal agents conducted raids over the weekend in Lenawee and Wastenaw counties that reports say may be related to some members of Hutaree, a Christian-militia group in Michigan.

“We can confirm that there were law enforcement activities in the Lenawee/Washtenaw County area,” said Detroit FBI Special Agent Sandra Berchtold. But she added that “the federal warrants are sealed and we can not comment at this time.” {more}

Is it a coincidence that on March 25th annarbor.com reported that the SPLC and ADL attacked local officials for requesting and receiving help from a local militia group in searching for missing persons? People helping people is now not acceptable if those helping have a label attached to them that some don’t like.

Who are the real hate groups here?

Bridgewater Township official turns to militia for help; watchdog groups question decision

Bridgewater Township Supervisor Jolea Mull has twice sought help from militia members this year to search for missing township residents.

The move is drawing criticism from militia watchdog groups, who say Mull is legitimizing an extreme right-wing movement that has a history of being associated with criminal activity.

And the partnership comes as the militia movement is exploding across the country, driven by fears of economic collapse and the potential for a crackdown on gun rights under the Obama administration, watchdog groups say.

About 50 militia members from five units live in Washtenaw County, militia leaders say. They are survivalists, who favor larger local government and a smaller federal government. Members are fiercely protective of their free speech and gun rights.

When Mull learned from Washtenaw County sheriff’s deputies that a township woman was missing Jan. 13, she contacted local militia leader Jimmy Schiel.

“She said, ‘Hey, we need help to do a ground search for Anna-Maria Wheeker,” Schiel recalls of their phone conversation that morning. “I said, ‘So you want the militia?’ And she said, ‘Yes.”

Mull, who said she was pleased with the militia’s response, contacted Schiel again Feb. 17 when deputies told her 56-year-old Robert Melvin Wise was missing.

Mark Potok, director of the Intelligence Project at the Montgomery, Ala.-based Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors extremist groups, questioned why an elected official would reach out to the militia.

The militia movement has been involved in an “enormous amount of criminal violence” and “huge number of domestic terror plots,” Potok said.

“It certainly seems poorly advised to be kind, to ask people who believe in completely false conspiracy theories and see the government largely as an enemy to help in law enforcement matters,” Potok said. “I don’t see how that could work out well.”

Mull, a Republican, turned to the militia because of their training in search and rescue techniques, familiarity with the local community and willingness to help, she said in a prepared statement. About 1,700 people live in Bridgewater Township in southwestern Washtenaw County.

“Unfortunately, in both cases, the searches ended tragically, but there’s an old cliché that says, ‘You are either part of the problem or part of the solution,” she said. “It is clear to me from these experiences that our local militia is part of the solution.”

“Based on what I have observed of our local militia’s efforts, I highly recommend that other municipalities coordinate with and get to know their local militia members.”

The sheriff’s department was grateful for the help, said Derrick Jackson, the department’s director of community engagement.

“The volunteers were helpful whether they were militia, whether they were residents of that community or friends of elected officials,” Jackson said. “They did exactly what we asked of them.”

An elected official seeking help from the militia is “extraordinarily rare,” said Mark Pitcavage, director of investigative research for the Anti-Defamation League.

“Most people would stay away from these groups like the plague for very understandable reasons,” he said.

Mull’s decision to reach out to the militia comes as the militia movement is experiencing an “incredible resurgence” across the country, Pitcavage said. The movement gained steam after the government’s siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, in 1993 and later tapered off.

But in the past 18 months, the number of militia groups has quadrupled to 200, Pitcavage said. “They wanna change the world,” “they are not satisfied with the status quo.”

“Certainly, the militia movement has generated a number of violent or otherwise dangerous individuals,” Pitcavage said.

We just can’t have people in small communities helping each other. That might bring folks together. The hate organizations SPLC and ADL want a divided population. It’s good for their business and the business of those they influence in the FBI and DHS.

Terrorist Talk: "Jihad Jane"and the Threat to the Barrett 50 Cal. Sniper Rifle

Posted on

Rita Katz and the Site Institute are at it again. Bin Laden videos are not enough so they conjure up a white female terrorist for the media to fawn over. The story seems to have been kept under wraps waiting for the proper timing. Coming on the heels of the IRS plane crasher and Pentagon shooter, someone decided it was the right time. The damn internet has got to be controlled or all of your neighbors may soon be terrorists.

Colleen Renee LaRose, 46, has been quietly held in U.S. custody since October on suspicions that she provided material support to terrorists and traveled to Sweden to launch an attack, according to federal officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the case is continuing to unfold.

LaRose, who lived in suburban Philadelphia, allegedly recruited men and women in the United States, Europe and South Asia to “wage violent jihad,” according to an indictment issued in Pennsylvania. She fueled her interests on the Internet over the past few years and used Web sites such as YouTube to post increasingly agitated messages, the court papers said.

Homegrown terrorists are sprouting like weeds.

Meanwhile right here in middle Tennessee, Ronnie Barrett of Barrett Firearms is looking for a free access road and is worrying about terrorists staging a commando raid on his firearms factory.

From the Nashville Scene

Yes, he made an official request of the Tennessee Office of Homeland Security to evaluate the terrorist threat that might be posed by one of the alternate routes suggested by TDOT for the access road to his factory. (Apparently, you can order up a terrorist threat assessment in this state like a cheeseburger and fries.) That route would have come closer to the plant, thereby making it handier for terrorists to attack, according to Barrett. He’s especially concerned that terrorists might swipe some of his .50-caliber sniper rifles, giving them the power to shoot people from several continents away.

State Homeland Security Director Dave Mitchell disagreed. In a letter that must have come as a great disappointment to Barrett, Mitchell writes: “There are no indications a terrorist group intends to use improvised explosive devices against this firearms manufacturing/storage facility.”

Barrett isn’t buying it. In his reply, he lectures the state’s homeland security director:

“With all due respect, our differences lie in interpretation of the terrorist threat. The requirement that a terrorist group must be ‘known’ before being considered credible is outdated. The notion that a threat needs to be ‘specific’ before we apply countermeasures against it is the antisisis [sic] of deterrence. Waiting until we see ‘indications’ of intent before we protect ourselves is a luxury no longer affordable.”

So Barrett is a proponent of the policy of preemptive force, and fighting terrorism mandates that TDOT cave in to his demands. It’s clear that TDOT hates our freedoms. (source)

Yeah, domestic terrorists could be anywhere. We just need more homeland security money and police state measures. We’ll all be safe then.

Dual Citizen Joe Lieberman to Hype the Fort Hood Shootings With Senate "Domestic Terrorism" Probe

Joe Lieberman echos Rahm Emanual…..

“Never let a serious crisis go to waste.”

“A couple of years ago, after a two-year investigation, my committee put out a report that said the new face of terrorism in America would not just be the attacks as 9/11 organized abroad and sending people in here, it would be people within this country, homegrown terrorists, self-radicalized, often over the Internet, going to jihadist websites, and there’s concern from what we know now about Hasan that, in fact, that’s exactly what he was, a self-radicalized home grown terrorist,” Lieberman 11/8/09

The Lieberman spin will of course go beyond ‘Muslim extremists’ to any patriotic American who dares to question the lies and the illegal wars of profit by the corrupt US administration, Congress and the military.

Our first and second amendment rights will be under attack….again.

Earmarking for a Terrorist Museum

The Center for Empowered Living and Learning in Denver, the recipient of a $300,000 earmarked grant in a Senate appropriations bill, is not, as the name might suggest, a New Age school experiment or environmental project. Instead, it’s a museum on terrorism — or at least a terrorism exhibit — on the ground floor of a downtown Denver condominium complex that adjoins the Denver Art Museum.

The CELL, as it styles itself, is an example of the kind of project Congress sometimes helps pay for apparently because it has political influence behind it — in this case, wealthy Denver builder and Republican political contributor Larry Mizel.

“This raises a lot of questions not just on Mizel’s background, but on, ‘Why is this museum being elevated above other museums across the country, and what is the benefit?’” says Steve Ellis, vice president of the watchdog group Taxpayers for Common Sense. “It comes down to the question of how are we picking the winners and losers in our educational cash.”

The CELL does have ambitions to spin its exhibit, which reportedly cost about $6 million, into an educational and training program on terrorism.

“It is becoming a regional and national center for counterterrorism preparedness strategy and training that will help average citizens, first-responders and government agencies — including the Department of Homeland Security — better prepare for terrorism risks,” says Deirdre Murphy, a spokeswoman for Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet of Colorado, who persuaded appropriators to include the earmark in the Senate version of the fiscal 2010 Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education spending bill. He originally asked for $350,000.

In the House, Democrat Ed Perlmutter of Denver had requested $443,000 for the museum, but appropriators turned him down.

The Center for Empowered Living and Learning is a subsidiary of the Mizel Museum of Jewish history and culture, both founded by Mizel, a well-known conservative who has contributed heavily to Republican political campaigns over several decades. He nevertheless has given $4,800 to Bennet’s campaign fund this year. Bennet was appointed in January to succeed Ken Salazar , who was named Interior secretary, and has indicated he will run for re-election in 2010.

Mizel is the founder, chief executive and chairman of MDC Holdings Inc., whose subsidiaries include Richmond American Homes. He’s also one of the founders of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a Jewish human rights organization based in Los Angeles.

The CELL’s first and, so far, only exhibit is called “Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: Understanding the Threat of Terrorism” and includes graphic pictures of terrorism victims, a replica of a suicide vest and a movie depicting Denver under terrorist attack. It opened to the public in February.

Last year, the CELL paid the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck LLP $90,000 to lobby on its behalf on the Defense and Commerce-Justice-Science appropriations bills, according to congressional filings. The museum received no earmarked funding for fiscal 2009, however. So far this year, it has spent a reported $40,000 on lobbying.

The museum’s executive director, Melanie Pearlman, says it plans to use the earmark to improve and expand its public exhibit, particularly its “action center,” which she said helps people learn how they can actively fight against terrorism. Pearlman says this includes efforts such as researching pension funds and other investment vehicles to help ensure the funds aren’t being used unwittingly to prop up terrorist groups.

“What we’ve found,” she says, “is that people don’t recognize that the threat is not just on the coasts but also in the heartland.”

“I really want to stress,” Pearlman adds, “we’re really taking a bipartisan approach specifically to this subject because we don’t want this to become a partisan issue. It’s very important to us.”

In late May, the CELL began a lecture series with a discussion about the value of Guantánamo Bay as a terrorist prison, moderated by former Sen. Gary Hart, a Democrat. {Source}

More propaganda via stolen taxpayer money…

The Cell: Recognizing the 8 Signs of Terrorism

Dupe and paid liar John Elway plays his part in the fraud of the ‘war on terrorism’ by being a mouthpiece for the jewish zionists who produced this video and who want to portray the next wave of terrorists as ‘whites.’ The ADL probably was involved in the production, at least as consultants.

As usual, the video invokes the false flags of 9/11 and Oklahoma City first. It then works its way into an attempt to create mistrust among your neighbors and strangers who may be out to get you.

Always there is the push to divert our attention away from the actual ‘terrorist’ threat of our own government, Israel, the CIA, FBI, Mossad, MI6 and other players, including the media, in the game of mind control of the masses.

Some are fooled, the rest of us are not.

I want my money back.

Stolen money for false security

Posted on

The ‘event’ of 9/11 created DHS through lies and deceptions. DHS is attempting to create as complete a surveillance state as our stolen money can buy.

“We can’t just say everybody can go everyplace and do anything they want.”

New York’s Ring of Steel Gets Wider

The city will use the $24 million provided by a grant from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to blanket the streets between 30th St. and 60th St., from the East River to the Hudson River.

Bloomberg, according to the New York Daily News, called the project the city’s ” No. 1 priority, and it comes before all fiscal concerns.”

The original Lower Manhattan Security Initiative, modeled off of London’s “Ring of Steel,” allows police to watch over some of the most valuable real estate in the world, reports MyFox New York, from “Canal Street to Battery Park from river to river, a 1.7 square mile area in which the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Reserve, Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, World Financial Centers, World Trade Center memorial site, PATH train and numerous major financial institutions.”

The Lower Manhattan Security Coordination Center, established last year in the Financial District, will operate as the brain of both security initiatives, processing the perpetual flow of images and data relayed by the technology networks. The command center relies on cameras provided by private companies and allows representatives from major corporations to work alongside police.

Despite the $24 million grant from DHS, Bloomberg remains irritated that more security assistance isn’t forthcoming, according to the Daily News.

The mayor is also lobbying Congress for $40 million to complete a massive screening system for radiation-spewing “dirty bombs,” but says the money is being held up by “politics as usual.”
He contended that the money belongs where the biggest threats are, not where politicians hope to earn votes.
“They’re trying to spread Homeland Security money around the country,” he said. “They’ve turned it into pork barrel.” {more}

Bloomberg is right about one thing. Homeland Security is a pork barrel. Even my town of 300 people has DHS money cameras. The money is being spread all around the country to condition a great number of folks into believing this is the future. For those that depend on DHS spending, it is. It’s a big industry of fear with a number of mega corporations making the profits while trickling down a little to keep the scam going right to the local level.

We do have a security problem in this country.

There is a big lapse in protection from our own government and their schemes. The false flag of 9/11 was just a beginning.
