Climate Refugees – coming to a town near you?

Leading up to the Copenhagen scam …

Western nations should open up borders to millions of ‘climate refugees’ says Bangladeshi minister

Migration is the only escape from rising tides of climate change in Bangladesh

The new migrants

Climaterefugees.com says …

There is a new phenomenon in the global arena called “Climate Refugees”. A climate refugee is a person displaced by climatically induced environmental disasters. Such disasters result from incremental and rapid ecological change, resulting in increased droughts, desertification, sea level rise, and the more frequent occurrence of extreme weather events such as hurricanes, cyclones, fires, mass flooding and tornadoes. All this is causing mass global migration and border conflicts. For the first time, the Pentagon now considers climate change a national security risk and the term climate wars is being talked about in war-room like environments in Washington D.C. {more}

If you look at the ‘friends’ of climatrefugees, you find many of the same groups funded by the Rothschild/Rockefeller/oligarch overseers that have been getting some media play lately and sucking in converts.

People have become displaced because of weather events throughout history. Katrina was our last major example. It happens. Most of us want to help.

But if the globalist agenda of the bankers and UN control and loss of US sovereignty through forced environmental ‘agreements’ actually gets pulled off, we are set up to being forced to take on millions of the ‘climate migrants.’

Another part of the plan is amnesty for illegal immigrants and an invitation for all of their family and friends to join them. Combine this with the ‘climate refugees’ and and we get to diversify our country more than ever.

Who’s going to benefit?

Nashville’s Controversial and Emotional ‘English First’ Proposition Vote

On Jan. 22, Nashville will vote on an English Charter Amendment.

The information, disinformation and emotion on this issue is running pretty high in some areas.

Some look at it as the government saving money in a time when cutbacks are needed.
Others call it racist. Some call it an attempt at assimilation.
Others say it is just not needed.
No doubt that immigrants are better off if they speak English and ultimately prosper more if they do. Exploitation of these workers for lower wage rates is fairly rampant.

Rumors abound. One local hospital issued a memo to its employees saying their jobs were in danger if the proposition passed.

Politically correct ‘diversity’ is a factor but looking at Nashville’s diverse population one sees ‘cities within the city’ as immigrants congregate in certain areas. The assimilation is slow if not non-existent.

Below are some of the viewpoints.

The Official English Charter Amendment

On Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, voters will have the chance
to vote on the following Charter Amendment:

“English is the official language of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee. Official actions which bind or commit the government shall be taken only in the English language, and all official government communications and publications shall be in English. No person shall have a right to government services in any other language. All meetings of the Metro Council, Boards, and Commissions of the Metropolitan Government shall be conducted in English. The Metro Council may make specific exceptions to protect public health and safety. Nothing in this measure shall be interpreted to conflict with federal or state law.”

“In the first place we should insist that the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equity with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace or origin. But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming an American and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any flag of a nation to which we are hostile. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language…and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”

– Theodore Roosevelt in a letter to the American Defense Society in 1919.

Is Nashville’s proposed ‘English First’ amendment necessary?

January 22nd is the official day for voting on the “English First” Charter Amendment proposed for Nashville Government by Metro Councilman (CM) Eric Crafton.

But controversy over the legislation has been running through the community for years. Supporters claim it only insists official Nashville government business be conducted in English. Detractors argue “It’s racist!”, “It’s unsafe!”, “It’s bad for business!” and everything in between.

A recent luncheon featured CM Crafton and Nathan Moore, a local attorney, political blogger and activist, presenting quick summaries of their support for and opposition to the legislation with a later Q&A.

The event’s promo promised to strip emotion from the discussion and expose the bill’s real consequences for Nashvillians. Yet it was clear from the presentations, questions and answers that people are passionate about the matter.

Consider each side’s choice of name for the bill; “English First” v. “English Only”. While the bill’s language requires government affairs to be “taken only in the English language”, it allows for “exceptions to protect public health and safety.” Supporters say this makes it “English First” while foes say “English Only”.

This is a special election requiring thousands in taxpayer dollars to undertake. Detractors call it a waste while proponents argue the measure was on November’s “free” ballot until political and judicial machinations by their foes forced it off, necessitating a costly special election.

Far from costing taxpayers, supporters argue it will save Nashvillians over $100,000 annually by eliminating the need to provide free licensed translators. Foes point out 95% of that translating is mandated by Federal law and the Amendment could result in Nashville losing millions in Federal funding.

While not devoid of emotion, only Moore’s comments offered what seemed a non-emotional reason to support his view. He didn’t claim “It’s racist”, “It’s unsafe!”or “It’s bad for business!”. He made the case, “It’s unnecessary!” Tennessee State Law, in 1984, (TCA 4-1-404) established English as Tennessee’s official language and requires “All communications and publications … produced by governmental entities in Tennessee shall be in English…” Given that, why does a Tennessee city’s government need a law seeming to do little more than indicate they will abide by state law?

In CM Crafton’s original 2006 request that Metro adopt English First, he stated it should do so based on TCA 4-1-404. English First supporters rightly recognize someone may attempt, in the future, to have Nashville government violate Tennessee’s requirement for government business to be conducted in English. I agree with CM Crafton that we need protection from such an attempt. But to make English First a necessary addition to Metro legal code, Crafton must demonstrate how Tennessee state law fails to protect his constituents and how English First will.

The New York Times Discovers English Only

by Pete Kotz

The New York Times weighs in today on English-Only, noting the Nashville would be the only big city in the U.S. to have such restrictions if the referendum wins. For those who’ve been following the issue, there’s not a lot new here. But the best–and most ominous–quote comes from Chamber President Ralph Schulz:

“Economics is global, and to be competitive you cannot drive away immigrants and the businesses that rely on them. Businesses from outside Nashville have been calling and saying, ‘Is Nashville a xenophobic place?’ “

In the middle of depression, this probably isn’t a good thing.

Newcomer Tom Oreck leads fight against English bill

Tom Oreck, chairman of Oreck Corp., is a relative newcomer to Middle Tennessee.

His company, which manufactures and sells vacuum cleaners and related household products, moved here in stages over the past two years from the storm-ravaged Mississippi Gulf Coast. Its corporate headquarters takes up one floor of an office building near Nashville International Airport. It has a manufacturing plant and call center in Cookeville, Tenn.

Oreck said the decision to relocate here was fueled by the Nashville community’s willingness to embrace new corporate blood and new ideas. That’s one reason he has joined a vigorous business community political campaign to defeat an English-only city charter amendment when it comes to a public vote later this month.

The proposed law would require government business to be conducted only in English, which Oreck and some other business leaders here feel is akin to placing a “Not Welcome” mat for other cultures on Nashville’s economic doorstep. more

With English Only amendment, the ‘Know Nothings’ are back

The Know Nothings was a nativist political party founded in the 1840s with the sole purpose for existence being to oppose Catholic Irish immigrants. When asked about their activities, the party members were instructed to say “I know nothing.”

Let’s call the English Only amendment what it actually is — the Know Nothing amendment.

We are, in effect, witnessing the rebirth of the Know Nothings in Nashville, circa 2009. Except now the target is not Irish Catholics, but anyone who may not have a perfect mastery of the English language and the taxpayers of Davidson County who will be footing the half-million-dollar tab for this unnecessary special election.

The Know Nothing amendment (cleverly and deceptively now coined as English First by its supporters) would be a giant step backward for a city that has been at the forefront of national progress over the last two decades.

True to creed, the amendment’s most ardent supporter, Councilman Eric Crafton, asserted just last week that he does not know what it would actually do. This most comforting admission is accompanied by a taxpayer bill for a special election and the erasure of Nashville from the international map.

In stark contrast to what the supporters of the Know Nothing amendment do not know, we who oppose this ill-conceived amendment do know some things. We know that its enactment would diminish the global perception of Nashville, and Tennessee itself, as a place to do business. A “yes” vote would rip that all-precious keystone from beneath the Shining City on the Hill that Nashville works daily to become.

We also know that Tennessee code already establishes English as the official (but not the only) language of Tennessee, to include all city and county governments.

At its very best, the Know Nothing amendment is redundant. Other pushers of the Know Nothing amendment have freely admitted that the purpose is largely “symbolic.” If symbolism is what they are after, let them pool their own money and buy some ad space in this very paper.

Of other things we know — federal and constitutional law would make the Know Nothing amendment impotent from the start. It could not apply to education, public safety, or the courts, which means that where money is actually spent by Metro, the Know Nothing amendment would have no effect. Non-English speaking immigrants needing building permits already do not receive translation services. Nearly all vital services must be provided in multiple languages per federal law and the equal protection provision of the federal and Tennessee constitutions.

Lest we forget, we are a nation of immigrants. The perception that non-English immigrants do not want to learn the language is a false one. No one travels thousands of miles to a foreign land to not communicate.

Sadly, in 2009, what the Know Nothing amendment is set to accomplish is not known by its supporters, but the unfortunate consequences are all too clear to the rest of us.

Metro departments not sure about English Only’s impact

Various programs protected by federal law

Some of the most prominent instances where Metro government offers services in various languages are in the Police Department, the Health Department, the Fire Department and Metro Nashville Public Schools.

Those services are protected by federal laws, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which states entities receiving federal funds must offer its services equally to everyone.

“Without being able to [speak in other languages], we would not be able to offer services like screening for sexually transmitted diseases or tuberculosis,” Health Department spokesman Brian Todd said. “We talked quite a bit about this particular bill and we would be omitted because it is health and safety.”

LaWanna Shelton, executive director of English Language Learning (ELL) for Metro Nashville Public Schools, told The City Paper that the details of English Only ramifications on public schools would need to be sorted out by Metro Legal. Educators will follow the guidelines given and comply with all applicable laws, Shelton said.

“If it passes, tell us what we can and can’t do, and we’re going to keep educating kids,” Shelton said. “These are adult issues. Leave them with adults. We are here to educate kids, and we follow guidelines.”

But there are certain services that federal laws mandate for children. Laws associated with federal funding are “very clear,” she said, in stating that parents have the right to receive and communicate information in a language comprehensible to them.

Other applicable federal laws are connected to lawsuits. Federal law states that every child needs access to core curriculum, which has been “widely interpreted” in terms of children with limited English proficiency, Shelton said.

Articles in the local newspapers lean towards encouraging a no vote but those that allow comments show a large number of people in support of the amendment. ‘Conservative’ talk radio is for the proposition. Informal polls during early voting are showing, supposedly, a 50/50 split.

The Immigration Bubble Collapses, The Garrison State Thrives

Posted on Updated on

Friday, October 03, 2008

by William N. Grigg

The Waterloo Raid: Manacled illegal immigrants muster at an Iowa stockyard in the custody of Homeland Security personnel. As our economy collapses, immigration both legal and illegal is slowing down. Any guess as to the use to which the Homeland Security State will put its immigration control assets once the immigrant flood dries up?

It will be years before we can accurately assess the collateral damage done by the housing bubble’s collapse. One likely consequence of the bust will be a sudden reversal of fortunes for a few cynical people making a living as immigration control demagogues as the tide of illegal immigration from Mexico and Latin America subsides. People earnestly concerned about “border security” will welcome this news. Those capitalizing on such sentiments will greet it with something other than unfettered enthusiasm.

A report released yesterday by the Pew Hispanic Center validates a prediction made by some observers — most notably economist Mark Thornton of the Mises Institute: Unauthorized immigration from south of the U.S. border would taper off with end of the Federal Reserve’s engineered housing boom.

According to Pew, the size of the illegal immigrant population “appears to have declined since 2007”; further, between 2005 and 2008 “the inflow of immigrants who are undocumented fell below that of immigrants who are legal permanent residents. That reverses a trend that began a decade ago. The turnaround appears to have occurred in 2007.”

Pew admits that it’s difficult to compile definitive statistics, given that we’re dealing with an underground economy. But if the trends described in the study are accurate, they follow the contours of the FED’s engineered economic boom and its inevitable subsequent bust (which happened no later than August of last year).

Significantly, the apparent decline in illegal immigration comes as economic growth stalls and reverses in the United States, while remaining steady in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Another tangible indication that there has been an abrupt decline in illegal immigration from Mexico can be seen in the volume of remittances — money sent home by Mexican expatriates working in the U.S.

As the AP points out, “Mexicans living in the U.S. sent home 12 percent less money in August, the largest drop on record since the Bank of Mexico began tracking remittances 12 years ago…. The Bank of Mexico said remittances will likely continue to fall in the coming months because of the `difficult problems the U.S. economy faces.”

In fact, remittances have declined by about 30% since 2005. And between 2005 and 2007, the number of Mexican illegal immigrants apprehended by the Border Patrol decreased more than 50%, which means that fewer people are trying to sneak across the border.

What this demonstrates is that Mexicans, like all human beings, are both rational economic actors and human beings with organic attachments to particular families, places, and fellowships. Most Mexicans would probably prefer to live and work in their home country, but prevailing economic circumstances made it irresistible to come north of the border — with or without government permission — in order to make a living. And with America’s economy circling the bowl, Mexicans in greater numbers are choosing to stay home.

This same principle is at work in the small but growing phenomenon of Americans who are expatriating themselves — even pursuing dual citizenship — in search of economic opportunity. A few months ago the Palm Beach Post reported that the same slumping economy that is encouraging Mexicans to stay home has prompted Americans, in increasing numbers, to investigate the possibility of migrating to Europe.

An estimated 40 million Americans whose ancestors emigrated to the U.S. from a country that has been absorbed into the European Union would be eligible for dual citizenship, which would make them employable throughout the Continent. “With an EU passport, I can live and work in 27 countries,” explained Florida resident Suzanne Mulvehill. “With a U.S. passport, I can live and work in one.”

There are an estimated 8 million American “expats” living and working abroad, a population trend that spurred the recent creation of a congressional “Expat Caucus.” A surprising number of American Expats have taken residence in Mexico. This is “surprising” on account of the difficulty involved in buying property in that country as a resident non-citizen, and because of the all-encompassing corruption of the Mexican Regime, which I despise nearly half as much as the one ruling us here.

Many American Expats in Mexico are retirees. At least some American retirees have taken up residence south of the border after trips to Mexico to take advantage of cheap but satisfactory dental and health care (which is cost-prohibitive under America’s corporatist/fascist health system, an illustration of the collectivist nature of our supposedly “free market” economy). Others, ironically, moved to Mexico as refugees from the housing bubble who bought property and homes in Mexico because they didn’t want to deal with artificially inflated home values here. That’s another trend that may level out with the end of the bubble, particularly after the dollar collapses after Washington bails out the Housing Bubble Profiteers.

Obviously, in terms of Americans emigrating to Mexico or the new European Soviet, we’re discussing a very thin trickle, not a gusher. And just as obviously, most Americans would prefer to live and work here — just as most Mexicans would prefer to stay in their home country. In both cases, the urge to emigrate is driven by the economic consequences of government corruption and profligacy. And legal emigration of Americans to other countries isn’t the same thing as illegal immigration from Mexico or other countries into this one.

But the fact that there is measurable, economically inspired emigration from the United States to any degree is a striking illustration of just how collectivist, and cankered with official corruption, our economy has become. The effects of the economic downturn are being exacerbated by many of the punitive measures passed for the supposed purpose of controlling illegal immigration.

The demagogue and the Brownshirt: Arizona state legislator Russell Pearce with his close political ally, GOP precinct committeeman and neo-Nazi J.T. Ready. Not to put too fine a point on the matter, these guys aren’t your typical immigration “reformers.”

One splendid example is the imbecilic “employer sanctions” law that went into effect in Arizona last January 1st. Written and sponsored by state legislator Russell Pearce, an immigration monomaniac with some exceptionally pungent political alliances, the Arizona law imposes draconian sanctions on employers who don’t winnow illegal aliens from their work forces. Offending business owners suffer the suspension of thier the business licenses on the first offense, and suffer permanent revocation of their licenses on the second offense.

Pearce has been clenched to the bosom of some “constitutionalist” organizations who, when the subject is anything other than immigration control, denounce government control of business owners through licensing and onerous regulation. The Arizona legislator insists that his law is intended to punish those who “put profits ahead of patriotism.” But its actual impact has been to amplify the effects of Arizona’s post-Bubble economic slide by driving employers to transplant their operations in other states — or even, in an irony so acute it could serve as a guillotine blade, to Mexico.

Pearce’s buddy in his natural habitat: Ready (second from right) and his National Socialist allies demand the Reich of way (see also below right).

As
Barron’s predicted as the Pearce-written employer sanctions law went into effect, the impact of the measure has been to curb illegal immigration by strangling the state’s economy. This is a perfectly satisfactory arrangement for a government careerist like Pearce, whose preaches “patriotic” sacrifice while living comfortably at taxpayer expense. But for people who own and operate businesses in the state that — unlike government — actually contribute to the public good, this transaction is hardly a bargain. Illegal immigration — crossing a border to work without government permission — has been a significant problem precisely because of government interference in productive society.

As the Mises Institute’s Mark Thornton points out, the economic and social problems associated with immigration are actually a product of the welfare state and its subsidiary, officially sanctioned multiculturalism.

“The only national problem [as opposed to isolated regional problems] with immigration is government,” writes Thornton. “Because immigrants are relatively poor they tend to pay less in taxes than their use of so-called government services like health care and education, and thus they increase the burden of taxation. We can therefore solve the immigration problem by simply eliminating government programs that provide [so-called] free services.”

Earlier I referred to “demagogues” on the immigration issue. Such people can be easily identified as those who promote “limited” government in nearly every aspect of life except for “border control.” For example: Such people can be heard denouncing our socialized health care and education system in one breath, and in the next be seen rending their garments and bewailing the fact that illegal immigrants “are ruining our schools, driving up our taxes, over-burdening our health care system, and ruining our economy.”

Well, no: It is the government ruling us that is doing all of those horrible things through socialist intervention in the economy, with illegal immigrants (among many, many others) acting as clients of that system. And more recently, concern over the impact of illegal immigration has been exploited by that same government, in perfectly predictable fashion, to justify dangerous enhancement of its powers to regiment our lives and economy.

It is the government ruling us, along with its quasi-governmental appendage called the Federal Reserve System, that has wrecked our economy. A retreating tide can leave behind some very unpleasant debris. As illegal immigration subsides, the lingering residue will include a large movement of people poisoned with the kind of petty collectivist nationalism peddled by the likes of Russell Pearce (and abetted in the past, I am ashamed to say, by Yours Truly).

But the most important remnant of this period will be the sprawling apparatus of enforcement, detention, and harassment created in the name of immigration control, which will be devoted to new and even more unpleasant uses as our economic collapse accelerates.

Video Extra: Who will “Trash Out” the U.S. Economy?

One growth “industry” in post-Bubble America will involve management of abandoned homes, both those formally seized through foreclosure and those abandoned by people who have sent “jingle mail” to their mortgage lenders. The scenes from California’s housing bust depicted in the video below is going to be replicated all across the country: Contractors dispatching teams of “trash-out” specialists to remove and dispose of discarded personal effects inside abandoned homes.

The Macacas Are Coming

Posted on

From Incog Man

Third World invasion of the tech industry is undermining salaries and competency.

by Ian Mosley

While on the campaign trail in 2006, Senator George Allen referred to an Indian who was following him around with a video camera for the Democrat Party as a “macaca.” No one seemed to know what “macaca” meant. In all likelihood it was a made-up word for Hindus by Allen. Curiously, the word has taken on a life of its own and is being used to describe Third World invaders from Central Asia and the Indian sub-continent.

The Conservative Voice website has run an interesting article by Liz Davis on “The Macaca Effect.” The column starts off: “What is the ‘macaca effect’? First of all, what is a macaca? A ‘macaca’ is a racial pejorative to refer to someone either from or with ancestry from India or Pakistan. And the ‘macaca effect’ is pejorative used by people in high tech to refer to East Indians driving down the wages of American and British high tech workers. In many fields (computer programming, engineering, medicine, nursing, accounting, etc.) companies are faking labor shortages to acquire an H1B visa and hire East Indians, with the net effect of driving down the wages of American and British employees. Thus, one hears disgruntled employees talking about the ‘macaca effect.’”

I wonder how disgruntled this author, Liz Davis, will be when she loses her high-paying job, writing articles, and is replaced with a minimum-wage “macaca.” If she doesn’t think this will ever happen, at least one major US newspaper has outsourced journalist jobs to India to cut costs. See you in the unemployment line, Liz.

The article goes on: “Paul Craig Roberts, assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury in the Reagan administration, has written: ‘Offshoring has reduced the availability of good-paying jobs for middle-class Americans. It is not only manufacturing jobs that are being moved abroad, but software-engineering jobs, IT jobs, and a wide range of other professional occupations. Consequently, the ladders of upward mobility are being dismantled. Many of the professional jobs that remain are being filled with foreigners, especially engineers and IT professionals from India, who are brought in on work visas and paid less by U.S. employers, who falsely claim worker shortages.’”

Ms. Davis continues: “High-tech insider Tom Stern says: ‘Indians are generally nice people. But when your company starts hiring them, you know the end is near. It’s like the early stages of cancer. Within one year, all of our wages were driven down by 45%. Big business is bringing over Indians for the sole purpose of pushing down American salaries.’ …Many complain that this may be the end of Western economies, as they are slowly transformed into Third World economies. Journalist Brian Watson comments: ‘It is no coincidence that Jean Raspail, author of the conservative classic Camp of the Saints, selected East Indians to lead the invasion of the West. Indians are best equipped to infiltrate and bring down Western countries – and they can do it with an obsequious smile.’”

Americans should always remember this simple truism: Mexicans are being brought into this country to replace blacks. Asians and East Indians are being brought in to replace Whites. Most Asians and Indians are completely incompetent at anything that requires actual creativity or serious deductive reasoning or in-depth analysis. The American high tech and professional trades have been devastated by this influx of semi-competent Asians. The term “bloat-ware” is frequently used to describe unnecessarily long programs, written by Hindu programmers, which all-too-often don’t even work. In some aerospace companies, it is considered “racist” to complain about the incompetency of ANY Third World workers –even if the complaint is extremely specific and well-founded. Apparently, no one is allowed to point out the “Emperor has no clothes.” A White employee, who tells the truth, is more likely to be fired than a bungling Hindu who fakes his analysis and makes up results out of thin air. The macacas are also responsible for some of the housing crisis, since White Americans who lose their six figure tech jobs to Indian immigrants, can’t pay off their homes in the suburbs.

The practice of hiring Hindus and Pakis is like a religious cult among higher management. All these executives and CEOs care about is the massive drop in salaries that comes with these new workers. No one is allowed to question the wisdom of the policy or point out the drop in quality and production. It seems like few -if any- executives have asked themselves “Why was there never a profitable aerospace industry or software industry in India or China or Pakistan?” Letting these Third World people invade our high tech industry is like welcoming a “Trojan Horse of Incompetency” that will one day destroy all the corporations that were built with the creativity of White tech workers.

OUR TROUBLED PLANET: CALIFORNIA LEADS OUR CRISIS

Last week, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a drought in California, “Water is like gold! We have to treat it like that.”

“The river of no return.”

Jennifer Steinhauer, correspondent for the New York Times, said, “The drought declaration — the first for the state since 1991 — includes orders to transfer water from less dry areas to those that are dangerously dry. Mr. Schwarzenegger also said he would ask the federal government for aid to farmers and press water districts, cities and local water agencies to accelerate conservation. Drought conditions have hampered farming, increased water rates throughout California and created potentially dangerous conditions in areas prone to wildfires.

“The declaration comes after the driest California spring in 88 years, with runoff in river basins that feed most reservoirs at 41 percent of average levels. It stops short of a water emergency, which would probably include mandatory rationing.”

“A survey this year found that the state’s snow pack water content was 67 percent of average, and the Colorado River Basin, from which California draws some water, is coming off a record eight-year drought, contributing to the drop in reservoir storage.”

“This drought is an urgent reminder of the immediate need to upgrade California’s water infrastructure,” Mr. Schwarzenegger said Wednesday in a prepared statement. “There is no more time to waste because nothing is more vital to protect our economy, our environment and our quality of life.”

Steinhauer said, “Across the state, many districts and municipalities are instituting or considering recycling, rationing and higher fees for excessive use. For instance, Los Angeles officials recently announced their intentions to begin using heavily cleansed sewage to increase drinking water supplies.”

“Some cities and regions are rationing, some are doing nothing and a group of people are in the middle,” the director of California’s Department of Water Resources, Lester A. Snow, said in a telephone interview. “The governor thought it was important to step out in front and get ahead of this. It is in part to avoid an emergency.”

Steinhauer said, “A bill to require Californians to cut water use 20 percent recently passed the Assembly. The bill, which requires Senate approval, puts most of the onus on residents, and little on the agriculture industry, underscoring tension over conservation between city dwellers and farmers, who consume most of the state’s water.

“Across the state, many districts and municipalities are instituting or considering recycling, rationing and higher fees for excessive use. For instance, Los Angeles officials recently announced their intentions to begin using heavily cleansed sewage to increase drinking water supplies.”

Does anyone see the irony in California’s water crisis? That state houses 37.5 million people. It grows by 1,600 people per day, which exceeds 584,000 people added annually. (Source: www.capsweb.org) Governor Arnold pretends to instigate water rationing with people drinking recycled sewage–but refuses to address the injection of 1,600 people daily! Is that stupid or what?

In addition, that number of people added every day adds 400 cars and other vehicles EVERY DAY to California’s already gridlocked traffic in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bakersfield and other large cities. It’s a living nightmare! And, it’s getting worse by 1,600 people every single day in California!

Can you tell me why that’s happening? Consider this: America immigrates 182,000 legal immigrants and illegal migrants every 30 days. How many immigrants? That many people nearly fills the Pasadena Rose Bowl twice! That number stems from a line that grows by 77 million annually around the globe. It stems from Mexico, which grew from 50 to 104 million in the last century—but will triple their population to 300 million in this century.

If you think California suffers, consider that five million residents of Atlanta, Georgia depend on Lake Lanier, which stands on the brink of vanishing. Ironically, Georgia at 8.4 million expects to grow to 16.4 million!

Does anyone understand that this nation immigrates itself into irreversible consequences with unsolvable problems?

As you write candidates McCain and Obama, please suggest: “National Carrying Capacity Policy;” “National Environmental Impact Policy;” “National Energy and Water Usage Policy” and “Strategic National Sustainable Immigration Policy.”

Our immigration policy today fails us miserably! It fails our culture, our language, our environment and our sustainable society. In fact, our immigration policy kills our future and that of our children. We stand nostril-deep in consequences without any water to drink!

Take Down The Bird Feeder!

Posted on

By Wild Bill Hyde

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it is, as I filled it lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue. Then came the SHIT. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table everywhere! Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food. After a while, I couldn’t even sit on my own back porch anymore.

So I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio.Soon, the back yard was like it used to be…. quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal. Now let’s see, The Zog government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medicalcare, and free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen. Then the ILLEGALS came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child’s 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn’t speak English. Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to “press one” to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than “Old Glory”are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.

Just my opinion, but maybe it’s time for the government to take down the bird feeder. If you agree, stand up speak out and pass it on; if not, continue cleaning up the SHIT!

Tom Paine’s Nightly Pest.

“The ideal tyranny is that which is ignorantly self administered by its victims. The most perfect slaves are, therefore, those which blissfully and unawaredly enslave themselves.” Dresden Jameson

Almost five years ago, I gave a speech in Sunnyvale, California. This is a short excerpt from that speech. History does repeat itself, but we the people have the power to stop the total annihilation of this country if there is enough courage and fire in the belly of those who truly want to be free from oppressive government. The alternative is hell.

“Ladies and gentlemen. These are indeed dangerous and serious times in which we live and not just from mad-dog terrorists from third world countries who hate us.

“We find ourselves in the same position as those who tried to save the Republic of Rome. I would like to open with a quote from the book, Dear and Glorious Physician, The Story of St. Luke, by one of the most prolific, magnificent writers of modern times, the late Taylor Caldwell.

“Published in 1959, this book spent 60 weeks on the NY Times bestseller list with more than 1,000,000 copies in print at the time.

“This is the character Diodorus speaking:

“In this very Senate, not many years ago, a senator was done to death because he spoke the truth. Not by knife or sword or spear was he murdered, and not by honest stones. No honorable hand struck him down, for there was no honorable hand here. He spoke of Rome. He cried out that Rome was no longer a republic, and that she had become a bloodthirsty empire, ruled not by men of wisdom and not by law, but by Caesar and his legions, and his generals and his rapacious freedmen and his palace politicians.

“The senator stood on this very podium and he wept for the Republic. He wept that emperors were not elected by the people, but by infamous legions and the idle and ravenous mobs who wished only to devour the fruits of the granaries and the treasures, and to be amused by charlatans and mountebanks and actors and singers and gladiators and pugilists — at public expense.

“For greed, that young senator cried to you, the mobs in this city supported evil Caesars, who lusted only for power, because those Caesars promised them loot from the public treasuries. Venal senators supported those Caesars, for profit and power.

“The lying Caesars spoke to the mobs and told them that our country could not defend itself against barbarians without allies, who must endlessly be bought and cajoled and flattered. And the traitorous Caesars plotted against their nation, mad with the lust to be gilded like gods by the whole world, and to be acclaimed by millions of thieves and beggars and wrestlers and freedmen and the cowardly, who never felt a pulse of patriotism in their vultures hearts!

“Let me move your hearts!” he cried. “It is not yet too late!”

“The course of empire leads only to death. Senators, look at me! Listen with your hearts, and not with your evil minds. Turn back to liberty, to frugality, to morality to peace, to Rome. Think no longer of those who appoint you, those whose bellies demand to be satisfied by the very blood of Rome, the very flesh of Rome, the hard-earned gold of Rome. Bow no longer to false Caesars, who, defying our very Constitution, issue mandates against the welfare of Rome and place themselves above the law which our fathers formulated, and for which they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor.

“Rome was conceived in good faith and in justice, and in the worship of God, and in the name of the manhood of man. Return our country to the rule of law and strike down the rule by men.

“Restore the treasuries. Withdraw our legions from foreign lands which hate us, and will destroy us at a moment’s notice when it serves their interests. Repeal the taxes which crush those who work hard and industriously.

“Tell your multitudes that they must work or they shall starve. Drive from the Palatine itself the masses of toadies and self-seekers and thieves! Drive from the Palatine the puny freedmen who say ‘Yes, yes!’ to Caesar, and bow before him as though he were a god and not human flesh. Cleanse this chamber of rascals and mountebanks and demagogues who declaim in rounded phrases that the welfare of the people is close to their hearts, but who really mean that they will do the will of the mob in exchange for vile plaudits and power, and bribery!

“Romans! In the name of God, in the name of Cincinnatus, the Father of this Country, in the name of heroism and peace and manliness and freedom and justice, I beg of you to restore yourselves as the guardians of Rome, to cast out the usurper of the powers which rightfully belong to you, to impeach and to punish those who seized those powers in order to pervert the laws of our fathers! Let your Roman hearts speak and your Roman spirits cry out against the expedient and the corrupt, against the vainglorious and the traitors, against Caesars who anoint themselves as gods and hold court for the depraved and the ambitious and those who would dissipate the strength of our people, our Constitution, and our traditions! If you turn from your country, then she will die, and a thousand thousand legions shall not save her and a thousand bloody Caesars will vainly blow to the winds.”

“Tiberius, the Caesar of the time, responded to this attack:

“I am a soldier. I am surrounded by sycophants and liars, and in that Diodorus speaks truth. What is lavish and uncomprehending praise given out of self-seeking and fear?

“What is flattery if lips that speak it only fawn, and in that fawning profit? The dull ear is servant to a duller tongue. As a I solider I prefer men of simple truth and without complexities who speak in honor and of patriotism. But where are men today in Rome?

“Let me tell you this,” said Tiberius, quietly. “Venal Caesars, power-mad Caesars, never seize power, never destroy law and their country. Their power is forced on them by an evil and despicable people, a selfish and cowardly people. Where are the guardians of the people’s liberty then? You are silent, you are slaves in spirit, you are thieves and cowards. But a people deserve their lawmakers.

“Rome!” he said. “Do I recognize this Rome of polyglot slaves, of Scythians, Britons, Gauls, barbarians, Greeks, Assyrians, Egyptians, and the scum of a whole world? Where are the Romans? They have lost their identity. They have lost their tongues, their minds, their souls, their virility. What have I to do with such a Rome? I am not an honorable man! I am what my people have made me. I am their captive, not their Emperor. Here is no escaping the evil of a debased people.

“I am here only to do the filthy will of a nation obstinately determined to commit suicide. If I break the law and the Constitution in their greedy behalf, they applaud me. If I have given up my hope of restoring the Treasury, they praise me for having their welfare at heart. Their welfare! Dogs and jackals!” End of quote.

The mobs are on the move again today with rallies to support illegal aliens smuggling themselves into our country and demanding an end to ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids on employers for breaking the law and a free ride to citizenship. They chant “equal rights for all” under democracy. Of course, in their ignorance, these rabble rousers have no idea America is NOT a democracy and that our Founding Fathers hated democracy. The largest number of these illegal aliens come from Mexico and using the worst of profanity, claim we stole their land. Ignorance is rampant among these lawbreakers. Their own government ceded over half of their territory the U.S. When a Colorado legislator called them illiterate peasants a little over a week ago, another empty headed female serving in office went ballistic because the truth burned her politically correct ears.

What the fabulous Taylor Caldwell wrote in her book, and she was a meticulous, gifted writer, has all but overtaken our country. We are in the throes of the total decline of this once great republic. Our elected public officials have been bought and paid for by the mob. Elected officials at all levels of government no longer care for their state constitutions or the U.S. Constitution. They care only for power given to them by voters. Most are cowards because they don’t have the guts to stand up to the powerful king makers behind the scenes or their brains are completely rotted from the mental illness called political correctness. Make no mistake: political correctness is a malignant cancer that invaded this country and beat common sense to death.

Here we are five years after I made that speech. We are drowning in destructive, unconstitutional “laws” while America’s very livelihood is being sucked out this country by greedy cowards and rank crooks serving in Congress and one White House “winner” after another. The people respond by demanding government “do something,” instead of doing everything humanly possible to throw their backsides out of office and put true leaders with some brains in our state legislatures and Congress. As the economy worsens, the cries for mother government will drown a free nation.

This invasion of illegal aliens who have NO constitutional rights because they are NOT citizens, have choked this country with their demands for free health care, free education and welfare. Let’s not forget the astronomical cost of incarcerating the ones who continue to slaughter Americans on our roads and highways, rob, steal and murder. Let’s not forget the growing number of illegal aliens who are sexual predators, raping and killing America’s children. Foreigners who come to this country shouting their demands that we change our culture, our history and our laws to suit their so-called religion. Can one not see what Taylor Caldwell wrote oozing across this land while millions engage in trivial pursuits like sports, violent video games and shopping?

“Democracy… while it lasts is more bloody than either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide.” John Adams

“A democracy is a volcano which conceals the fiery materials of its own destruction. These will produce an eruption and carry desolation in their way.[1] “The known propensity of a democracy is to licentiousness [excessive license] which the ambitious call, and ignorant believe to be liberty.[2] Fisher Ames who authored House Language for the First Amendment

While it pains me to say this, tens of millions of Americans have also taken up the mob mentality. Under “our democracy” they continue to demand mother government, with the sweat off your back, provide them with health care, child care, jobs and more “entitlements.” In response to these demands from desperate Americans, these poltroons in Congress will be only to happy to oblige. Remember Jameson’s quote above. Americans are being pitted against each other in this battle. Those who live the creed of the brilliant, courageous men who birthed this nation are self reliant, determined, masters of our own destiny. We refuse to lay down our rights and freedoms in favor of the heavy hand of government stealing the fruits of our labor to reward invaders, corrupt politicians and fund foreign interests. We are up against those who are accepting the communitarian (communist morality) doctrine, walking into the trap created by Congress and the state legislatures. Instead of holding them accountable, under mobocracy, the legions continue to vote for corrupt scoundrels in public office who break what doesn’t need fixing and then steal from the public purse under the guise of “fixing it.”

The mobs of democracy are stomping our republic into the ground while cowardly, degenerate politicians grovel for their votes. Democracy underground or above ground is still the same thing: disaster and a bastardization of our legal form of government. The results of pursuing such a path is glaring us in the face from coast to coast, border to border. Trying to shove democracy down the throat of foreign countries like Iraq is nothing short of insanity.

The Founding Fathers, men like Patrick Henry and young Master Nathan Hale, were called radicals and extremists because they disagreed with the loyalists, subjects of the British Crown who wished to remain under the control of a tyrant out of fear or because they benefited financially. In Mel Gibson’s movie, The Patriot, he had a great line in the beginning of the movie, “Would you rather have one tyrant 3,000 miles away or 3,000 tyrants one mile away?”

I’ve been called a radical for the past 18 years because I refuse to get on my knees and live my life under a tyrannical government. Patrick Henry and those who spilled their blood and gave up all their material possessions to birth this republic were called radicals. I am proud to wear that label. Eighteen years ago I gave up the good times to share what I’ve learned and what I’m still learning. I became an activist instead of an observer. Where do you stand? I hope you’ll catch my next column, Do you have a Plan? Time is slipping by and Americans need to grasp that things are not going to be the same for a long, long time. Despite the bald faced lies coming out of Washington, the worst is yet to come.
