Why are all 3 of the Katy Perry pictures the same picture? Variety is the spice of life! Seriously though, what a tool. I am so sick of people conflating "support of the troops" with support for the endless wars. What an annoyingly effective tactic.

The fact that anyone can actually still stand behind that "support the troops" argument, as our troops sicken and die overseas for wars that are illegal and have even been proven to be lies, is beyond a stretch. Yes, support the troops by ensuring they die in an alien wasteland surrounded by a people who hate them because they're being killed by these soldiers! Who's really harming our servicemen, people holding signs pointing out the obvious evils of power, or the people encouraging them to "stay the course" and remain overseas in harm's way?
